SHIT!!!! My freakin' Excel food/workout journal has been wiped out!!!!!!

I can't believe this!!!

It took me a long time set it up and i've been using it for about a month and it is allllll gone and I have no idea what happened to it. I had about 5 or 6 worksheets of info on there, and now there is only 1 with weird greek/code stuff on there......

I would say something about having it saved on a disc, but you feel bad enough already.

Aww...thanks bigs!!! I guess I'll know for next time....but..I'm gonna try one more thing, and see if that will work....I can't believe...maybe there is a temporary copy on my computer somewhere.....or I'm gonna try to open it up on a different OS and see if that will make any difference....

applications like word and i think excel usually have an autosave function no?

the greek code.....feel like copying and pasting a bit of it. i used to dabble a little bit in excel

yes....oh it was saved alright. I saved it last night...then today I go to open it and somehow the files have gotten damaged. My machine has been very screwy lately....*sigh*....I'm pretty upset about this. First it was the TV, then my digital camera, then my watch, then my CD player, and now my stupid excel spreadsheet. This is all within one week.


Maybe if I got some good karma or something I'd have better luck.....*HINT HINT*

lol....it's more like someone has decided to cast a bad luck spell on me because I am obviously a bad bad bad girl........yeah...they are mostly salvageable...but no denero....!!

Project, it is Excel 2000...when I go to open it, it says file format not recognizable. Soemthing really weird happened to my machine I think...because when I went to open up PhotoShop just now, it asked me if I wanted to customize some color palettes....as if I had just installed a new version or something...WEIRD.
