It goes on to say it makes sense men have more superstitious minds as unlike women, they cannot be sure if a baby is theirs.

i have found this (in bold) to be true quie often. men assume "she's cheating" anytiime anything goes wrong because they just cannot tolerate the idea that there could be something wrong with THEM.

women on the other hand, tend to ignore the signs or not want to accepet it (denial) and will turn the other cheek for a long time even when its clear to others that he is cheating. that's likely because for women, if a man is cheating, the woman will internalize and feel like there is something wrong with them (not good enough, not pretty enough etc) and what woman wants to accept that??

EXACTLY! So true! Almost every man I have dated thinks something is up whenever I just want to do something besides be with them for a night.

While both sexes are hurt tremendously, the study showed that women are able to regroup so much better. It fucks with dude's domes to no end.
Only been cheated on once, but shit, remember that shit I do. Fucking hairstylist, model, flake... one month in a relationship that was built on little more than transcendental sex, and then one night I was supposed to be out of town, but decide I would rather spend that time with Candice, she never came home till 5 in the morning. She tried to explain that it was with her ex fiance and that he was crying so bad, and blah. Therapy for depression does not include giving it up. Though, I dunno, maybe new schools of thought will prove me wrong. Doubt it though.
Had no words, just packed my shit up that mornin and found a new place. I always wondered why dudes asked why? I mean its like being shot and then immediately crying out, I've been shot. Hey, U, no she cheated, but according to her its not cheating, cause she was with this guy for 2 years, and we had only been together for a month. I am not a glutton for punishment and she is not my boy, but my gf at the time, so I didnt pump her for details. This was her take: technically its cheating, but its not really if you look at the big picture according to her, cause she felt so sorrry for abandoning this poor dude, when they were gonna get married some day. She kept talking, I kept packing.

Okay, yeah I know she's reaching, but she kinda did have a point, but so did I, I'm not strong enough to just sit there and abide in that situation and keep moving forward, fuck that, I packed my shit up and out the dooughhhh.

Less than a month, but still that shit hurt. She fucked this poor dude over cause she didnt' wanna get married at 23, can't blame her, but that doesn't mean when you are dating someone else that your guilt causes you to fuck him.
I dunno, pluse we werent' even that close, it was just going out every night, getting wasted everynight and then having fun with her. I do remember having to listen to her geigh ass house music 24/7 for 3 weeks, she was just really, really hawt, up to that point by far the hawtest I had even dated.
