You guys should seriously see aerial shots of crowded swimming areas. When I swim at Clearwater, there are sharks all around. I've been bumped in the Agean Sea before. Now, THAT's scary shit.

Seen lots of nursesharks, barracudas, stingrays, manta rays and eels, but no great whites. It really scares me to see a barracuda in the water with me. Most of the nursesharks I have seen were in the water under the docks at marinas.

It seems like manta rays make a point to scare the shit out of people.

I don't think they're dangerous at all... they don't have anything on them that could easily harm. I still remember swimming near an island, with the anchor hoding the cruiser, *nothing* in sight but perfectly clear water, white sand and the distant island. Then a very large manta swam between my sister and I.

Sting rays are little sadistic bitches. "I kill a stingray for run" Just give me a harpoon so I don't need to get near it.

The South China Sea, about 50 metres from my window, is full of sharks. And lots of little tiny stingrays that will annoy a swimmer. And... there are pirates... Chinese pirates out to rob and kill rich Hong Kong seafarers.
