serious pain-

Foam Roll, PVC Roll your entire upper body. A lot of elbow problems stem from other areas.

Get a good elbow sleeve. Use HOT HOT HOT cream before training and never EVER have a training session where you don't ice immediately...even if you don't have pain. I ice after every session and before bed.

Change every tricep based lift you can and make sure that you NEVER rest your arm on anything that isn't super soft. This means the car window, computer table, etc...
 
Theres some great advice so far.

I didn't stop training I did start icing my elbow and have supplemented with glucosamine and so far the pain has gone away.

I did stop doing overhead extenions for about 1 week and the pain did slowly go away.
