i apologize about that, it wont happen again, it was edited before i had the chance to change it
my diet basically goes like this
morning: protein shake with some fruit
snack: raw veggies (tomatoes, cucumbers etc)
lunch: low fat meat (i.e. ham, roast beef, with veggies and bread) maybe pasta or chicken
snack: fruit or veggies again
dinner: protein shake, pasta, whole wheat bread with veggies and steak
i always eat 3 hours before i go to sleep and if i am hungry before bed time i will take a protein shake or eat some fruit
sometimes if i dont have raw veggies around i drink v8 juice thats low sodium and the same goes for the fruit (if i dont have fruit i drink v8 fruit juice)
thats pretty much it, i try to stay away from those processed things and if i am not sure about something i dont eat, now occasionally i have a slip up, for example i would sometimes crave sweets and most of the time i would buy gummy bears which have no fat content or sodium, they are loaded with sugar but on the upside they have carbs or if i dont want gummy bears i would go to mcdonalds and get a ice cream cone, those would be the extremes of my diet, the last time i have junk food was probably about 2 months ago when i was straving and there was nothing to eat so i had a burger for mcdonalds, but thats the last time i really had something that was really bad for me. i have realized that if i dont have my meals planned ahead then i am more likely to slip up on my diet and so far i have done pretty well. i also only drink water and the occasional gaterade. i do try to incorporate some healthy fats in my diet like olive oil from time to time, for example if i have a raw veggies with my steak i would cut up the veggies and use about a table spoon or two of olive oil with a bit of salt on the veggies.
now i know what some of you might say that fats and salt are not good for my diet but then again you have to remember that i am not training for a competition and that i am not in a competitive sport and the other thing is that i dont go over board on those things. one more thing, when i do have some sweets i try to eat them early in the day so that way i can burn them off during my workout.
this is all i can think of right now, i'll add more if i remember something, but i am pretty sure i have included everything. dont rip on me too bad, im trying real hard, i stopped drinking, smoking, i deactivated my facebook, turned my cable tv off and practically stopped talking to everyone so that i can focus on my workouts, im focused so take it easy on me
and as always i appreciate everyones help, thank you
