Sacrifices endured for Fitness/Bodybuilding

What sorts of things have people sacrificed in order to keep fit or to get into the actual bodybuilding scene?

I know me in particular when i started my quest to lose weight i completely shut myself off socially, i focused on nothing but the gym and my goals, i could go weeks without talking to anyone, its was just me, the gym and my cd player....This to me has come as a hefty price to pay for achievement as only now am i slowly emerging from the deep trench of anti-social hell.
 
Twinkies and ho-ho's. But I'm not giving anyone my crack pipe!

Actually fitness/bb is a way of life more so than a thing you do on the side or a hobby.
 
I give up things as I go along... pretty much I've given up these things... and only eat them maybe a couple times a year:

Candy, Ice Cream, non-whole wheat pasta, non-diet pop, heavy consumption of alcohol, ... this list is going to take WAAAAAYYY too long to get done...

Let's just say I've given up eating alot of food I used to eat.

Yeah the trick is to not alter the original too much.
 
Wodin, I had to give up protien shakes.

I used to be fat when I was in my early 20's, so I guess I had to give up my boobies too.

But I dont really miss my boobies.
 
I gave up social drinking and beating off after 4:00 AM or in the middle of the night.

I try not to eat after 6:00 PM but that is tough.
