Rottman's Ancient Strength Creatine LOG

Hi guys, I was lucky enough to be picked by Needto to run a log on Ancient Strength. I want to thank him for trusting me and supplying me with this product. Just a little bit of info about myself:

I have been training for almost 20 years. Most of my training over the years has consisted of a powerlifting type style, heavy weights and low reps. My goal was to get as big as I could and strong as I could regardless of how much fat I put on. I have competed in the past in powerlifting in the 198 pound and 181 pound weightclasses, and was lucky enough to win first place at both weightclasses. The last event I did was in 2006. I am closing in on being 40 years old. This past year I realized I needed to change my physique and my lifesytle. I decided I wanted to see something I have not seen in years, my abs and my veins. I wanted to go from being bulky (185 to 190 pounds) to lean and ripped (165 pds). So I started dieting in Feburary 2010 at 185 pounds. I added in Cardio which for the most part was unheard of for me.

My Overall goal is to get down to 165 pounds while keeping as much strength as I can. I had started to notice with the weightloss that my strength went down and that became very frustrating as I am a Powerlifter at heart. I might even consider competing at the 165 pound weightclass in the future if my strength is good.

So with my strength going down I decided to start a PH cycle. Now, I am no stranger to PH cycles, I have done plenty of them over the past few years. P-Plex, M-Drol, H-Drol, just to name a few. But I always lifted heavy and ate like a horse when I did them so I could get as big and bulky as I could. This time, my goal of the PH cycle was/is to keep as much muscle as I can while dieting down. So I did some research and came up with a new PH cycle, Primordial Performance Turinabol and Androhard Stack. But that wasn't enough. I wanted some additional products to add half way through my cycle that I could run all the way to the end of my PCT and then if need me, continue them. I did some further research and that is when I discovered two amazing products, Need to's NEEDTOSLIN and ANCIENT STRENGTH. After reviewing these products, I stumbled across a log by need to asking for members who might be interested in running a log on Ancient Strength. I knew this was for me and that is why I am here. Thanks again to Needto. My cycle is now complete.

My Current Cycle consists/consisted of:

Weeks 1 to 4 Turinabol LV (Best Halodrol 50 clone Bar None) finished this last Tuesday
Weeks 4 to 7 Primoridal Performance Androhard LV, just started Week 5, so 3 weeks left
Weeks 5 to 11, (starting today) NeedtoSlin (remainder of Androhard and the 4 weeks of PCT (one tab three times a day)
Weeks 5 to 11, (starting today) ANCIENT STRENGTH, same as above (three tabs before workout and three after, off days morning and afternoon)

Weeks 8 to 11, My PCT which I will list later..

VPX Meltdown (Thermogenic)

MY REASONING FOR ADDING IN THE ANCIENT STRENGTH IS FOR STRENGTH. Like I said, I have noticed that my strength has gone down since I lost weight and I want to try to bring it up a bit. THis looks like an awesome product. I respond very well to creatine and I hope this blows all the other creatine products that I have used over the years out the window. I am soley looking for strength with this product. My calories are low as I am trying to lean out. I will add a sample diet of what mine looks like.

*** day one ***

Starting weight 173 pounds (now remember I am trying to cut down to 165, so I ma not looking to gain weight from this, I am looking to help maintain my muscle and my strength while cutting)


Today is my first day. I took 3 caps of Ancient Strength before my 45 minute Tricep workout today and three caps after. I took one cap of Need to Slin this morning, one this afternoon and I just took my last one. I am going to run one cap three times a day as I am on a cut. It is obviously to soon to tell but hopefully in a couple of days I will notice.

If people are interested in my log and want me to I will be happy to add the other supplements I listed above with their times and amount. I will also be happy to list my daily diet if requested. I will add todays diet/Supplementation for anyone that is interested

Upon wakening, three caps of Now L-Carnatine, CoQ10, and then 30 minutes treadmill

Meal 1, six egg whites and a cup of black coffee. Took one cap of VPX Meltdown and two caps of Syntrax Gugglebolic, one serving (5 ml) of Primordial Performance Androhard

Meal 2, Musclemilk Light Shake Vanilla, and a Vanilla Chabani Greek Yogurt

***45 minute tricep training *** I took one cap of VPX Meltdown before and three caps of Ancient Strength before and after workout ***

Meal 3, turkey breast on whole wheat bread, bottle of water and a Chabani Greek Yogurt, blueberry

*** one cap of NeedtoSlin 30 minutes prior to meal four


Meal 4 Chicken breast with mixed vegatables, (pees, beans, and potatoes), two caps of Syntrax Gugglebolic

Meal 5 Chobani Greek Yogurt blueberry, two rice cakes with a little peanut butter.

Bedtime, 5ml PP Anrdohard, Policosanol, CoQ10

What the fuck !!!this Ancient Strength is siick , after a week the strength went up. This bottle do not lie when it says ancient strength.

Yah guys, I can't wait to see what these two products, Ancient Strength and NeedtoSLin, do for my progress. I am hoping they help out with my PCT and Bridge more then anything. I only have a couple more weeks left of the Androhard, although, the bottle seems pretty light which means I am going to run out soon. MIght need to order another bottle. Anyway, I will log tonight when I get home..Take care.

I am taking the Androhard so my vascularity has already been good, was better a couple weeks ago when I was using the Turinabol. But now, it seems that my vascularity is starting to get even better again.SO it could be a combination of the Androhard and NeedtoSLin. I pretty much ate the same way I did yesterday, except for dinner I had steak and rice.

All in all, so far so good. I can't wait to see what's ahead. I am going to be adding in Gear within the next couple of days too to help with my protein intake. Take care guys..

*** Day 3/Day 4 ***

What's up guys. I just got back from the gym. I did Chest today. Yesterday I really switched things up and hit biceps/triceps again, second time this week, not something I would normally do. Anyway, Vascualrity and pumps are F-in amazing. The comb of the Androhard/NeedtoSlin/Anchient Strength, is awesome. Literally, I have been training for almost 20 years, this is by far the BEST vascualrity I have ever had, veins are sick. Just again today, I had just started my first exercise, about 3 sets in on flat bench, and some big guy in the gym comes up to me and asks me what I am on. When I told him what I was using (Not anything Illegal), he looked at me like I had two heads. I know what he was thinking. He was thinking I was a F-in bullshxtter. Haha. Anyway. I am liking t he results. The Androhard by itself was good, vasuclarity was kicking in but the NeedToSlin made a huge difference. As far as my strength goes, I would say it is starting to go up a little, that's where I think the Ancient Strength is doing its job cause I have been on a Primordial Performance Turinabol LV(finished two weeks agao) and PP Androhard (two weeks on it) and my strength was pretty much at a standstill cause I am on a cut (taking Theromogenic/Thryroid Booster/Low calorie diet) right now. My bodyweight is steadily going down, and strength is going up. My diet has pretty much been the same, egg whites for breakfast, Cream of Wheat or Chobani Yogurts preworkout for the NeedSlin, MM Light after my workout, Turkey breast for lunch and either Chicken or steak for dinner with opotatoes or rice. Another MM Shake in between and Chobani Yogurt and rice cakes before bed. SO there you have it, at day four and things are looking good. Gunna be adding in Need to 's Gear anyday now..

I would just like to add at a side note, I have been taking more dumps then ususal, LOL, Seriously, nothing I can't handle but I have noticed it. I think it is the Needto Slin, but not sure. I had one bout if craps yesterday that made the toilet look like a zebra, but whatever, no problem. I will update again in a couple days. Just another side note, if you guys are thinking about buying NeedtoSlin, don't think anymore, get it. The stuff is amazing for vascualrity and pumps. It is too early to tell its fatburning/leaning effects but I will keep you all informed. As far as the Ancient Strength, let me give it a couple more days. I am feeling a little bit of strength on it, but I will get back in a couple days. Creatine ussually takes me a week to two weeks before I really notice the effects. *** Day 5/6/7 ***


What's up everyone. Work has been crazy so it was a little hard to get here the past couple of days. I trained legs on monday and was off from the gym yesterday. I am on my way out to go now, back workout today. I want to start off by saying that I am using the supps the same way I have been, with the Ancient Strength at 3 caps before my workout and three after. I am liking this product. My strength is slowely but consistently going up. Monday I had one of teh best leg workouts ever. I stacked the leg press to the max and was cranking the reps out. The only think diff I have done the past two weeks is add these new products. I am going to be finishing the Androhard soon. I have contemplated adding 3 weeks of 11-oxo to prolong this cycle a little bit but I have already been on Phs for 6 weeks. Anyway, my diet has pretty much been the same. The only thing I have changed the past few days is I cut the egg whites out in the morning and replaced it with some oatmeal. I had to change things up as the eggs were starting to get to me a bit. Also, I weighed myself and am 171pds, so I am down a little, which is what I want. I am going to be hitting the beach this coming week so I was thinking of adding in Taraxatone for a few days to get rid of some access water weight. So overall, I have noticed to this point that the Ancient strength is raising my strength steadily while my bodyweight drops. The slin, damn, that shxt is amazing for vascualrity and pumps. Cant wait to see what comes in the next few weeks. Take care guys..
 
*** Day 8/9/10 ***

What's up everyone..just got back from a nice bicep workout..I was supposed to hit shoulders but I was pressed for time..I was off gym yesterday and hit lots of cardio this past thursday..I am on vacation and was in the car for several hours yesterday so I could not train..Gunna hit it real hard over the next week..Doing crazy shoulder workout tomorrow..more of a strongman type workout session..anyway my weight is 171..I have been trying to eat good although last night I had a well deserved cheatmeal..I am still using all my supps the same way..I anticipate running out of Androhard within the next few days at which point I will add in 11 oxo and 6 caps a day..Now to the Ancient Strength..I really like this product..MY strength is progressively going up while my bodyweight is going down..it is doing exactly what I was hoping it would do..same dosing of three caps pre and post workout..no stomach issues or anything on this..I had to back off a bit on the slin cause it was giving me a little problem in the can but still going strong..I am actually starting to see its leaning effect now..I will update again in a couple days..
 
Thanks 1500..I agree with you..I am at the conclusion right now that the only reason my strength is going up is because of the Ancient Strength..everything else is the same and I am actually eating even less calories then before..I am gunna run it all the way through till the end of my PCT..then when I do my next big bulking stack in the early fall I am gunna add this and bulk on it..can't wait to see those results..gunna need another bottle of this sooner then later..take care
 
Man I am good at picking out supplements or what!!!! I know the good ones when i see them, or no how to make the good ones. When it comes to creatine ancient strength pre work out is the best of the best. Muscle replenisher post work out and then reg creatine MH all other times of days and off days. This is the best way. It gives the best results and its the best value too.
 
Thanks Needto and yah, you were right about this product..I am using it even on off days from the gym..I do have plain mono powder..Do you think I should save the Ancient Strength for workout days only and then use the mono powder on the days off?
 
Good morning everyone..I just got back from an intense shoulder workout..I am on vacation and just hit LA Fitness down here..Went really well..I got up at 730 this morning and downed a Musclemilk regular shake for some extra calories to help get me going..then I took my PP Androhard VPX Meltdown Syntrax Gugglebolic Needto Gear and topped it off with three tabs of Ancient Strength..my strength was up on everything..I know its the creatine..I think I am going to make this a staple for the time being unless Needto comes out with something new..I am going to take some more gear with L-Carnetine and eat half a dozen egg whites..going boating today so hopefully I will be able to work on the tan..take care everyone..

What's up guys..I just got done working out triceps..Now get this I worked out on a bowflex..Now before anyone laughs at me I am away on vacation so I have to make compromises..I worked out yesterday at LA Fitness which was nice but it was a good ride their and back..plus it was twenty bux to train..anyway where I was staying last night had a bowflex so I figured I woukd give it a shot..that being said I gotta say I had an awesome workout..got an insane f-in pump and shredded ny triceps..felt like I hit areas of the triceps I never hit before..so it was good to change it up..I don't plan on buying one but I think it is decent for arms when in a pinch..anyway I am using my supps as is..I just ran out of the Androhard this morning so tonight I will start my three weeks of the 11 oxo bridge at three caps in morning and three at night..I upped my VPX. Meltdown to three a day and the guggle to six a day..I have been using the needtoslin same way and ancient strength at three tabs before and three post workout..I weighed in today at 171 and that is good considering I am on vacation and have had a couple cheat meals..strength is very consistent and I am happy with that..the hotel I am on my way to now has a nice full gym so tom will be chest workout..Overall things are going well..I was going to start my traxatone type product I got this past weekend but I will start tom instead..take care

What's up everyone.I trained chest today and overall considering I used the resort gym I did good.they only had a smith machine a seated press machine and dumbells up to 50 pounds..they also had cables..so I went with the Smith so I could go heavy then did the press and cables..overall not bad..My eating has not been as strict as normal cause I hit the buffet last night with the fam for a birthday party..today I have been eating pretty good considering..still taking all my supps except as I stated yesterday I am done with the Androhard..I took three caps 11 oxo last night and three more this morning..I ran out of HcGenerate also so I am using Cellucor P6 red till I get home at three caps am and two caps before bed..my weight is steady at 171 but considering how I have been eating I understand..gunna hit about 50 min cardio tonight before bed to burn some extra calories..the Ancient Strength is working real nice..My strength is still steadily going up..No stomach bloat very little water retention if any..loven it..take care
 
Hey guys thanks for the encouragement Orbit and Andrew..and yah running out of the HcGenerate bites..LOL..anyways vacation is nice and all with the fam etc..but gotta say it will also be nice once I am home to eat real good again and train in a real gym..on my way doen to the resort gym for a back workout so I will see how that goes..be back here later..
 
What's up guys..just got done training at the resort gym..hit back today and overall once again decent workout..did several sets of pullups dumbell rows and bentover barbell rows on smith since that's all they have and the hit some lat cable pressdowns paused on way up..got a nice burn this way..no need to hit cardio cause the gym is already like a sauna as I sweat more weight ytraining then when I do actual cardio..LOL..supps are still the same..eating has somewhat been a problem since I have been at this resort.best I could do this morning was yogurt coffee and a bagel with peanut butter on it..had mm light shake when I got done training..I have not done pullups like this in a while and I was impressed with the strength I had..I did a lot more reps then normal..last thing bodyuweight this morning was 170 so down a pound..going to start the Xtract today and will use for the next couple days as I might shoot some pix this weekend at the beach with the old lady..take care..

What's up guys..yesterday July 1 I did 50 minutes of cardio to help get rid of some extra calories I have been taking in on this trip..today, July 2 I trained biceps, I hit them F-in hard did 20 sets, which I learned from Lee Priest..anyway diet today was really good so far..I had an eggwhite ommlette with brocolli and for lunch I had a small fruit salad with a chicken breat and carrots..taking my supps the same way I have been but just added in Xtract today to help shed some water as I am planning to take some pix on sunday..my bodyweight this morning was 170 pds so I lost that pd I gained..strength in the gym today was phenomina..strongest I have been with bicep curls in a couple years..I am pretty much off my stack for the exception of the 11 oxo which I am running for three weeks..also just want to add that I look so much bigger I think at a lean 170 then I did at a fat 185/190..if my strength keeps going up the way it is and no doubt its from the Ancient Strength I hope to compete in powerlifting at 165 down the road..thins are looking good and I feel good..I took some pix today so when I get back from vacation I will add them also some pix from just before I started to u guys can see the difference..tom is triceps and shoulders..

What's up everyone..Hope you are all doinf well..I just hit shoulders and triceps in the resort gym and once again it was decent but I can't wait to be back in my home gym..I am going to hit 50 minutes of cardio later on tonight before bed..I ate decent so far today..had plain cream of wheat for breakfast and a cup of coffee..then for lunch I had a grilled chicken salad..post workout I ate a few rice cakes, one with a little peanut butter on it..I weighed in today at 169 so I am down a pound and strength is consistent..I plan on taking some pix tomorrow and hope to put some up when I get back.last thing supps are all the same and I am taking them the same way, nothing has changed..thanks guys and I will update soon..
 
*** Day 19, 20, 21, 22, ***

Weight 168.5

Hey guys, how is everyone. To start off, I did not train Sunday or Monday with the holliday weekend, took a well deserved little break, and of course I ate some cheat meals on the 4th. With that being said, I am home now. Tuesday I had an outrageoous workout. I hit Chest and all my lifts were up by at least 15 percent, which is crazy. An example, my flatbench went from 315 pounds to 340 pounds on my max. I mean i did struggle a tad but I did get it up with no assistance. My incline dumbells, I went from max with the 100's to 110's for reps. It was a really nice workout. When I got done lifting chest I hit cardio for 50 minutes, 25 on seated bike and 25 minutes on treadmill, med intensity. Today I got up and did 30 minutes fasted cardio on the treadmill, but not before I weighed in. 168.5. This is the lightest I have been in a while and my strength has been better then it has in a long time. Def, never been this strong at this bodyweight.

I am eating the same now since the 4th has come and gone and I am taking my supplements the same way I have been, except, I cut out the Ancient Strength on Off days and replaced with plain mono powder to make the bottle last a little longer, still training about four to 5 days a week. The NeedtoSlin is def help cutting me up and leaning me out.

All in all I love what the Ancient Strength has been doing for me as well as the NeedtoSlin. Thanks..

Weight 168 pounds


Hey everyone, how are you all. The past couple of days has been awesome. Saturday I trained biceps/triceps, Sunday I did 50 minutes of cardio and no weights, and today, monday, I trained shoulders. Both workouts (Sat and today) were outrageous. Strength was up and endurance was crazy. The energy I have now is F-in beautiful. The strength for my arm workout was up big time. Here is an example. Double arm machine curls, my max was 120 for 3 reps the last time. This time I did f-in reps with 120 pounds and wound up doing a set of 130 and then did 150 for five reps. I actually had to stop and look at the machine and see if I was on the right one or if something was wrong with it. The reps just felt too easy. Without diving into this too much, its been like that every workout for at least the past week or week and a half.

My eating has been pretty strict now, more so then before but with that, my energy is better. I am glad I started the Creatine mono this past week on my days off, and teh ancient on my training days, this way I can do a complete 30 day run with the Ancient Strength. I am taking my supps the same exact way for this exception..I will update again in another few days which will prb be my final update. Cant wait for the next run. Thanks everyone..

What's up everyone. Sorry about the delay but I have not felt good the past couple of days. So anyways, here it is. I finished the Ancient Strength log on Saturday.

1) Starting weight 173 pds

Ending Weight 167.5 pds

Total loss 5 1/2 pounds

Note, if you did not take the time to read my entire log, I have been on a cut, so my goal was to loss some bodyweight while at the same time gaining some strength, which is what happened. MY goal was to get down to 168 pounds while gaining strength, which is exactly what I did. I might even try another cycle and go down to 165.

Strength= Crazy difference for me/ My strength wound up going up 15 % on major lifts, and this was happening while my bodyweight was going down (Look at my July 8th post for further details). My muscle pumps and vascularity were really good to, but I was stacking this with NeedtoSlin as well, 3 caps a day, so I would recommend stacking the two if you can. The pills were a little big, but no problem to take, I used 3 pre and post workout. Furthermore, you cant beat the price of this product.

Overall I would highly rate and recommend this product. BEST CREATINE PRODUCT I HAVE USED EVER, and I have tried all of them from the start of Bill PHillips EAS Creatine Monohydrate, to Gaspari's Size On, BSN Cellmass, etc. This is Number 1.

I am going to take a break from it and then add it once again when I do my next cycle which is going to be in early fall. Thanks everyone for following my log and a big thanks to NEEDTO for allowing me to try this product out and trusting me with an honest log. Next time I think I will add before and after pictures, along with an even more detailed log of my meals, and training programs. Glad that its the best creatine you have used thus far.
 
The reason I picked up ancient strength was because my product line was lacking a high quality fast acting creatine. We already have a good cheap creatine MH thats 5g per serving. This month we have it in a Orange tang flavor.

Ancient strength is worth the extra money to use this product pre work out on work out days. For the rest of the day and on off days IMo just use our cheap creatine MH. The combo is perfect on or off cycle and this creatine really is "faster" then any other creatine product out there. When it comes to pre work out creatine you want the creatine to convert to ATP as quickly as possible. You want the product to give you quick energy as well as sustained energy and atp through out the work out. Thats exactly what Ancient strength does. Combined with our Creatine MH its the best bang for your buck and the best results Creatine can give you..

The reason I picked up ancient strength was because my product line was lacking a high quality fast acting creatine. We already have a good cheap creatine MH thats 5g per serving. This month we have it in a Orange tang flavor.

Needto that orange flavored Creatine i would be equally as happy if Ancient strength was available like that ,I would be getting my creatine while meeting my water quota for the day.
 
i use ancient strength exclusively now.it works excellent for me and .im done messing with the horrible creatine powder drinks..
