Ronnie Coleman in training

Scots and I watched him train while we were at the gym down in Lafayette...

He is not of this earth.

wtf? the page is in German... lmao. Dedicated to curling.

the good thing about is that I finally know how some exercises are called in German now...

(if you thought a deadlift was a deadlift anywhere, think twice)

Great post. I couldn't imagine watching this in person

BB

I got to train w/him (read next to) in Springfield MO. There are other pro BB's who train with much more intensity....but watching him squat was a thing of beauty.

ya'll didn't know that was from his video? amateurs.

i usually just work out with him.. so i didn't think i needed to watch that dvd.

i like how he just throws the weights down when he's done! i was thinking it would be hilarious to see a midget walk out or a little old man and say "HEY COLEMAN STOP THROWING THE FUCKING WEIGHTS"

From watching his vids, I find that

#1 I go way past the point of "failure" in a set than he does.

#2 I do about 50% more range of motion than he does.

#3 I'm about 20% of his size.

WTF?

He's using heavy weights but everything is relative. I use heavy weights for me. Maybe I should loosen up my form and drop the weight when it gets hard to do another rep. Any thoughts on this?

I'm going to his weekend workout deal in late February. I have already met him 3 times, but it will be cool to be in closer quarters with him. He is a man beast.

How old is Ronnie now? 41? I saw a thread the other day on 'lifting for people over 30' like we are geriatrics or something. Ronnie makes other bb's and weight lifters look like shit. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the drugs though.

bodybuilders train different.. watch some of the shit that goes on in pumping iron... form is horrible for all those guys yet they are all fucking shredded huge as shit.. makes me wonder.. i'm gonna start loosening up on form as well see what it does for me..
