you know i saw an explanation of his statement that said he was just sayin that instead of, in his mind, the guy committing adultery he should divorce the wife with alzheimers. Whatever the explanation it's still a fucked thing to say. Some guy could say look i'm not going to abandon my wife near the end of her life but for those "other needs" i now have to step out because it's just not going to happen within the marriage anymore. I actually applaud that guy for "not divorcing" his wife but according to Pat it's better to divorce but find the wife someone to take care of her. Complete backwater thought process's that pervade people's minds who have spent their whole lives telling other people they're closer to god so listen to what i have to say. He's a souless lifeless lump of organic chemical interactions.

lol olds always say funny things! I have a grandmother in her 80's that will sometimes say strange things. I guess he was trying to empathize with the man? With all kidding aside, I would never divorce my wife due to any, ANY health issues; mental or physical. Even if she were unable to function in the home, or if she were in a coma, she will still be my wife. Not because of any religious vows (we're both of Christian upbringing, but are agnostic), but because I think it would be wrong to abandon her when she wouldn't have done anything to cause the problem.
