Results from the neurologist not so promising

OMG, honey! If you need me, call me. I think you have my number. I will do anything I can to help if you ever need some help or need to talk. My prayers are with you.

From a health site. MRI scans are very sensitive — that is, they don’t miss much. But, as a result, they frequently pick up things that turn out to be nothing important. If your scan showed an abnormality, your doctor might recommend additional tests, sometimes including a biopsy or even extensive surgery

I'm going to hope my hardest that it is a false alarm.

it's a reality check to see "real" threads on EF, land of make believe.
godspeed to a quick and easy recovery

radiation therapy, and chemotherapy... so far thats the only option for a malignant tumor

Not true. University of Indiana specializes in tumor surgery and follow-up treatment. They are the "Harvard" of the brain tumor world.

I had a cyst once removed from my spinal cord near my skull. No biggie.

My college roommate is a surgical oncologist at MD Anderson. Pretty good knife action

I'm very sorry to hear this.

A neurosurgeon that I speak with a lot recently set up cyberknife at our hospital. It's a form of radiation therapy that's really taking off because of the success rate. Once you get more information regarding the location, size, etc, I can ask him about your tumor if you like. I'm not friends with him by any means as it's more of a quick chat as he always comes into our radiology department to look at various CT's and MRI's but he's always very willing to show me what he has done on patients or what he will be doing. I hope to observe one of his surgeries soon

Here is an article about the equipment at my job
