I'm a few days into my CKD, and my carb-refeed will start Sat. afternoon-Sun evening.

My question:

What's the best type of carbs/types of foods to have during the "refeed"?

Should I just buy 10 boxes of Cereal and sit back?

Do I still have fat during this time?
Do I still have protein

Or is it ALL CARBS?

probably not the best thing, but i eat absolutely anything on my carb up days

yes,
as long as im very strict during the week.

low carb is very hard for me, so it actually keeps me going b/c it gives me something to look forward to. the weekends

it's been all good protein and Flax for me, I am just trying to figure out what would be the BEST foods to have on the refeed day.

Obviously Carbs (complex)? (simple)?
Fat? any?
Still high protein?
 
Your muscles will destroy whatever you give it... don't forget.. Leg day the day after a refeed is a good idea... or whatever they most taxing workout day is for ya :)

Some stick to clean foods just ALOT of oats, ect... or have a couple pizzas and enjoy it :beer:
 
Personally... I take one day per week and i just EAT... I never end up eating as much as I think I will, but I dont hold back..... Burger and shake at Steak N Shake... Pizza, wings... regular soda, ice cream... cookies... whatever i get my paws on.

I am SUPER strict during the week and I have had some of the best improvements of my life this way. I think if I cut it down to one Meal, vs on Day... that I would be ok, but damn that whole day feels nice... :)
 
so as long as I am getting PLENTY of carbs on the refeed day 1/2, it really doesn't matter where they come from?

I don't still eat 6 or 7 meals?

Same Calories?
