Yeah well they might have got off on that.. who knows. Ran into them last night SBT thinks anyway because she remembers the shoes... October 26 2006

Mood = Good
Soreness = Not 2 bad, back a little stiff
Weight = 156.6 and holding 4 days straight

Wearing a pair of dress pants (fake size 2) that when I weighed 157 last year I could not even button :)

Work-out yesterday on back was decent. Abs were easier to accomplish this week compared to last week. Diet must be doing o.k. because weights all increased. Thank God for 7.5 hours of sleep the past 2 nights head feels on straight again and helps in the work-out department.
Sponge rolled my TFL's and quads again. I know, I know... Always taught to not deep work a muscle twice within 48 hours but it was so much easier. Despite the huge bruise I left from 2 days ago I think it's good 2 go, and since I know what I'm doing (well on this anyway, lol) I think I'm safe. Little stabber on the side of my knee went away caused by my overly tight TFL, that's why I started rolling them.
I've noticed a huge increase in flexibility through my lats since I started stretching, and my adductors. Which all in turn helps with lifting heavier and keeping the body alligned. I made an appointment (Nov 28) to get a referral to a specific orthopedic doctor also. So with free massages and getting involved in a healthy spine service I should be all set ;)

No work-outs today, day off

Food will be pretty much the same even hitting a free birthday dinner I'll still be good. Just because a holiday shows up doesn't give room for cheating and renigging on goals, lesson 101. :)

Mood = Calm, and kinda irritated
Soreness = upper back a little bit
Weight = 156.8 (feel bloated some actually thought this was gonna be higher off the way I felt, steak last night)

Food = same

Does my ticker move?!?!? Seems like it's moving slow, lol.. Just seems like it anyway... Not that I'm craving anything or want to get clean eating over with... Almost think this is a life change this time around. Feels VERY much dueable on a regular basis.
Except when I switch it up again in 2 weeks... well to another clean eating program.

Legs this evening (Quads and calves) :evil:

I could feel muscle fibers getting tore up, and I am already having fun walking so I know I have a rough 3 days ahead of me with DOMS.
First time I had the dizzy feeling come over me, and the hurling sensation rising up, and I was starving by the end of the work-out.

Even had a guy come up to me and said he was trying to count my plates but kept losing track and asked how much I did, and then was shocked and said, "Man I don't see hardly any guys do half of what you just did!"

So it was a good leg day, food just felt on, feeling was good, pumps were going. Only three things changed, more sleep, a new pair of Nike's, and a red steak for dinner last night.

Birthday dinner was fun!!! Even went birthday shopping and bought 2 new pairs of Nike's, a gym outfit, a gym shirt, gym socks, and a bottle of perfume : Issey Miyake for women.

So it was good :) Yes, I am bragging because it's my log and dangit I'm excited and proud of myself, :lmao:

I was told once that doing a leg press is the same as your squat weight, plus your body weight. If that is true, then HOLY COW!!!!. I can't fathom pushing that kinda weight.

So today we are getting ready to go hit shoulders, not so much my favorite... :rolleyes:

Just got home from the massage school teaching. I was asked by the director to take over the sports massage as prime instructor, so YEAhhhhh!! I can restructure the program also! So I am excited.
O.k. gotta go get some PR's I'll be back :)

Ohhh HiDiN I will not be squatting no 550 pounds any day soon.. not with my back.

Mood = Good
Soreness = Forearms, shoulders, lightly in the glutes, arms feel heavy at this point.
Weight = 157.2
Body fat = 21.8% yesterday, actually decreased 1% in the past 2 weeks, with my BW up 1.5lbs. Going to check again in 2 weeks to decide if cals will go up or not.

:lmao: Well some of that is with the help of SBT.... Since she has been around and we have been cooking I haven't had any cravings (Thank God). All weekend I sat with Kit Kats, Milky Ways, Candy Corn, Gorilla Bread, Panera bagels, muffins, pumpkin rolls, and twizzlers on my desk at the school and nothing tempted me.
Instead by the end of the weekend I had the students asking me for nurtitional 'Recommendations' and had to walk away when the famous quote of "bouncing quarters off my butt" came out of one of their mouth's. I'm thinking no way... that was wierd.


So anyway in the way of PR's since HiDiN you do ask... Shoulders... Eh... I really think my shoulder work is more of a physical therapy session. I realize I am not doing enough /any external rotation in the program and possibly creating more shoulder instability. SOOoooooo.... starting next week I am incorporating some shoulder rehab kind of superset, light weight routine to help try and strengthen the weaker links (Infraspinatous and teres minor).
Needless to say shoulders are still sore from saturday, especially the ant. and med. delts.

Chest and arm work on sunday different story ;)
Pr's on DB incline press for 5 reps on my 4th set with 65 DB.
Really helps to have a spotter to help get these things up, I wouldn't have gotten them up without her help, due to the shoulder lock at the beginning of the movement, but after that the game was on!!!
For arms I PR'd preacher curl at 75lbs for 4 reps on my 3rd set, yes the FULL ROM, not partial... all the way down.
Dips I did 3 sets of 8,7,6 reps with no assistance all BW... so I may need to start adding weight onto me! Most I have ever done, especially with the BW still going up and higher then the last time I tried.

So it ended up being a good day yesterday despite the fact it is getting darker earlier and I was turning the lights on in the car because I had no sun all day and was falling asleep. SBT thought it would be funny by rolling her sleeves up and acting like she was getting a tan... Freak!

Tonight HAMS and the GLUTES :evil:

Late night work-out as SBT said in her log, but I did it, MUHAAHHAHHAHA

Deadlifts 305 for 5 reps 3rd set, 310 for 4 reps 4th set.
15 more pounds and I hit my goal for this off-season with DL's

I got pretty light headed after that and through the rest of the work-out started seeing stars...

Shadow = I tried the deads as you posted... I felt them in the hams but nothing like I feel the full stiff leg deads. Actually I think once I hit a roadblock that will help me to continue on as I can definitely see how it protects the low back and the pre-stretch application to the hams that you speak of! Thank you!

Glutes already sore.

I have some additional updates I will post later on... Bed time... TIRED

Thanks ILK, Buns, Fly, and CK for cheering me on and posting :heart: means a lot at least I know somebody may benefit in some small way :lmao:

HidiN I don't know but that girl still has a tan!!! I'm trying to turn her into a pasty white girl but so far it's not working. Maybe it's some tanning lotion she is applying?!?! Hmmmm

SBT that is wierd! We will see if we walk out in the same colors 3 days straight! lol

hubby and I went to the gym and I had applied that bronzing stuff, well....while I was doing cardio, the stuff proceeded to drip down my face and everywhere on my body and I was wearing a white shirt. :heart:

hey yo.....


On the DHEA...taking a larger dose in the am MIGHT be easier on your natural hormonal production.

DHEA is one of those weird compounds that can clear the body anywhere from 6-24 hours(S-DHEA clears in minutes) - knowing this and assuming you are in the middle..I would bump it to a lower dose 2x per day

November 1st 2006

Mood = Great
Soreness = None really.. just keep cracking
Weight = 157.2 and holding 3 days now

Food = the traditional meal plan I have set out.

I received 2 books I ordered in the mail. One is about advanced Cyclical dieting for achieveing super leaness and weight plans that go with them, the other is about the Ketogenic diet. I almost read one of them through last night. I am not so sure right now with the way it is set up. It has full body work-out's... and I am not totally balanced in the body to be hitting everything equally. Sooooooo what I am thinking is modifying the plan to suit me and the girls' better. Combining it with what I am doing and see how it pans out. The problem is... the diet also has cheat meals but maintenance cal cheat meals.... and it is not quite in with my original 3 month clean bulk that I am following. I can adapt and overcome.
What seems to be ideal is run the plan for 6 weeks, stretch my next phase 6 weeks insetad of 4, and finish up the day before Christmas. Then take a week off from the specific diet and look over what was accomplished BF, measures, pictures, etc... and run a new plan or the old plan adjusted if need be, starting Jan 1st.
So that's what's in the way of food and idea's I have.

At the same time... I'm revisiting some ways of supplementing that was suggested to me from different sources.

Weights tonight Back, Abs. I am seeing better ab control now since I have been following this ab program then I had for my competition. It goes along well with the posing.

So that's all...

Hey no prob... I have 2 scoops left in the container.

-TRAC is better then the ANAVAR (N02) powder form I took. It gave me the pump affects more profoundly and also had a better taste!!

-It works just as well as the traditional N02 pill supp that costs twice the price.

-With that said... There were a couple days I did miss the supplement and still hit PR's at the gym and that was on decreased sleep. I did not have the pump feeling but I did have the aggression to move more weight (Note*The infamous goal every training session).

-I found that it works best to take it at least an hour before the work-out, but if taken out earlier does not provide the same 'feeling', any closer to training I don't think it has absorbed because I could literally feel it kick in mid-work-out.

-Taking this after 5:00 p.m. would keep me up till roughly 1 a.m. So I tried to make sure I had it in me by 4:30 at the latest and falling asleep was not disturbed.

-It has on the label to take it every day despite working out or not. Frankly I only took it on weight lifting days.

-Overall I really liked the product, and would use it again.

I'm getting ready to run a new product starting sunday... so I'll see how that works.

1935 cals (or sometimes I subtitue cals in to make 2100 with the same macs below)

-Woke up hungry this morning, felt sick like...

-Some odd reason I have been getting that time of month cramps the past 2 days, :evil: I'm a week out so I dunno.

I thought about you this morning lol ... I was doing Leg Curls and the Sled is right in front of my face, so jean shorts load it up 5-6 on each side, and does the 1/4 reps with the little grunts, and sigh when he's finished. :)

I smile to myself wanting SO BAD TO SAY, I know a female half your size that can full rep that... I WISH you were there to say "no leave it on, then proceed to rep the heck outta it..."

Thanks Hidin and CK!!! I'm working up to my 800 goal!!

So the girls' and I all had a posig session last night... I'm amazed at the accomplishments and transformations they have done!! They are going to look SOOOOOOO good on stage! I don't have 2 week ago pictures on my one compe.. but she looks really good. SBT I have 2 week ago shots and it's amazing just in the past 2 weeks what her body has done. It's really unbelieveable but we have the pictures to prove it. All I can say is I know how to create glutes on girls'!!! In due time they will post pictures.

Awww.... thanks buddy!!! I still don't see it much in my pics so it was nice to get the reinforcement from you gals last night :D And yup you sure do know how to put some gooooooood glute workouts together!!! (Told ya I had been working on my lats a lil bit :lmao: )

Well we didn't take pictures last night. I pulled up the pictures on my comp and then the other 2 looked at the overall differences and commented on what has come up, what needs to come up more, etc.. etc.. So as far as a comparison shot I can't post that up 4 ya. Due time isn't here yet....:lmao:

Ohhh and figured out the cramping my body decided to say heck why don't we just have that time of month every 3 weeks, ERRrrrrr

Soreness = mid-upper back (been like that for 2 days now), ARMS especially triceps, legs feel heavy

Notes =
Started a new supplement yesterday since I ran out of Trac. It's similar it's called Vyo-Tech™ Nitrobolic Extreme. I have the pink lemonade kind, not sure if there are different flavors.
So far taste on this one is FAR better then any of the other N02 products I have tried.
I dunno but when I hit 305 on deads I thought I was going to break in half. Well I did the 330 yesterday and SBT even said it looked easy for me like I could have done more weight, and it felt like I could have. Actually it wasn't even in my head that I just took a new supp lets see the effects. I actually forgot about it until after the work-out was complete, and it was a intense work-out. Pass-out, dizzy, black... "Only if we worked smarter not harder", right SBT :rolleyes:

*If you ask yourself why does this girl try new supps all the time... Well I get bored easily and like switching things up.

Yeah form was right on and you made it look like it was bout 130... so far I like the nitrobolic extreme much better too for both taste wise and I've had good workouts everytime so far too... But yes again, if we only worked smarter :lmao: I'm sure workouts would be even better

Mood = Calm
Weight = 157.8 (4 days straight)
Soreness = I need a massage!!! Getting one tomorrow. Not the kind I need though. It's a Swedish and I need therapy... but that's all this guy knows (student)
Mostly upper back, left side. Think it is a huge knot in my lat, teres major, and the attachment point for Infra and Supra. I feel it all!

Food = 2,200 cals..

Weights this evening HA HA QUADS and CALVES :evil: We'll see how today fares.

Notes =
1) After recent discussion with Shadow the thought is the strength increase could be due to the Beverly liver, and the DHEA supplementation twice split, over my previous just once a day. The idea of better form came up... but I have been doing these for over 2 years' straight and I have the form down.. So I'm leaning towards the supplementation.
2) Cramping like a mofo, and acne, SUPERB, I'm finished with that time of month. Makes no dang sense to me. I started a week early, but all my typical sides (acne and cramps) are coming in at their normal time. Thinking it could be the twice DHEA supplementation (maybe because it is a pre-cursor), or the heavy strength run the previous weeks.
3) Chicken has got to hit the highway for a few days.. going to go buy some Bison and switch it in. 2 days of rubbery chicken and I'm not going to be eating here soon.
4) Have my new weight split wrote up for the next 6 weeks. Just doing some minor tweaking at this point, but I think it's going to be good. Incorporating some new advice and some new reading I have done and we'll see how it all pans out.
5) Wow over 6 weeks of eating a clean diet, and I didn't even realize that till now!!
6) I was steady ~1 pound a week increases at 1800 cals for 4 weeks. Then I switched cals to 2100, and now have 1/2 pound increase in weight each week for the past 2 weeks. What does this tell me... I'm doing measures again this sunday. Over that first 4 weeks at 1800 my BF dropped 3% also.
