Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

O.k. so now I feel like a retard!! Here I have been working on this important doc since JAN the last time I saved a copy was the end of March. I finished it on thursday last week so I could send it out today. I told all of my boss's it was complete. I go to send it... and it was GONE!!!! I was crying and one of the ladies here came over to ask me a question and was like, "What's wrong?" I felt so stupid... So I explained to her and she was trying to help me find it... with no luck. MAN I SUCK!

ARRRRR! I feel for you!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

You know.... I'm kinda over losing the document but I have one of my client's e-mailing me telling me she thinks the diet of 1500 calories is to high when her RMR is 1600. She showed me what she had been eating and that alone was at least 1800-2000. Not only that I put her on HIIT, 1 day aerobics/pilates, 1 day long slower distance, plus 5 days of weights. Not only that the girl is a dietician!!!!!!!!!!!! I was like are you kidding me? I wrote her whole plan up this past weekend at the hospital, along with my other client and both of them sent me almost teh same e-mail in different words. They are both about 22 years old, female, both motivated, but both want to rely on lots of cardio, ab work, and little weights. So I basically told them I'm not a dietician I was helping them out with tehir diet that they can go figure it out themselves if they want to complain about it and gave them fitday.com. Then they both think that 2-3 days of upper body work is to much?!?!? They think they are going to get "BIG". I keep reiterating they are female, not taking steroids, their pear shape needs to have some balance with an upper body, and we are only working each muscle once at the most twice a week. So I basically stated you hired me... If you don't like the diet, if you don't like the weight, if you don't like the cardio do what you want and let me know what you want me to support you on. If they don't see the changes they desire then they cannot hold me accountable that they can only be mad at themself. So pissy!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Those misconceptions about being too big are sickening, aren't they? Why do people think you'll turn into Yaxeni O. overnight if you lift heavy weights? If it were that easy, steroids wouldn't even be necessary!

I think you did the right thing, Treil. They have to put their trust in you. They hired you for goodness sake!

What a day so far, huh? And it's still early...

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

I'm sorry to hear that your day isn't going so well, Tre! Hang in there...I totally sympathize with the missing document especially. That stuff drives me nuts!!

I know right, it's only 2:00 for God sake!
I think I will have a good leg work-out though. I really need to go tanning. I heard over the news how tanning is addictive. Well I guess I finally am addicted to something besides weight training  I feel so much better especially since the past week has been rainy and gloomy out.

I really try to understand the insights these two girls' have about diet... At the same time the one is now on board with me. The other chick... well she is a spoiled rotten kinda brat, who had a daughter 15 months ago and her parents are raising because she didn't want a child?!? :chomp:
So she is used to getting her way... Again whatever...
She's 36% body fat, 175 pounds, and 5'4"
I told her if she wants to run on a treadmill, go on a no food diet, and become skinny fat then go right ahead I'll stand by her side cheering her on. If she wants to get a lean, hard body then she can follow my program and we can get to serious work. In the end it's her body and her choice...
