Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Hola Bonita!
I put a picture in my thread with my reply to you... Anyway...I don't think you should be worried about the interruptions being by words...As good looking as you are...You have a problem with body language!!!!LOL...they will be like wolves...LOL...
My dad who will be 73 in Oct. says there are two symptoms you can-t beat to know if you're getting old and are a male....
1. You think everything is too expensive....
2. You like the younger girls...and DO NOT care being called anything....

Number 2 is definitely true... By then it doesn't matter you have nothing to lose.. Heck maybe (they think) there is that slight possibility they will land a young, good looking, gold digger and then be happy... I have this 54 year old guy that is the nicest guy, very intelligent, doctor, but.. yeah.... I don't think so. I actually like older guy's but that's past the cut off...
I'll go look at the picture you left!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

I hope you're out swimming by now! Oh and I did not know that you golf! I do too!
And about the older men...yeah...you don't want to be a nurse before your time....
It's more like when we need one, we can share her...LOL...then it is appropriate to say we are a threesome...she drives, she cooks, she does almost everything...LMAO....and then we may even get in a jealousy fight..."You are hogging her attention"....Just give the man a sleeping pill!
My oh my let's get out of this theme and get into your night out on the town...

Well I didn't realize how much time it takes for them to pack, unpack, blah blah.. We went to Cabela's and I almost bought a cross bow with scope (I've been wanting one for a long time), Went over to the Jerky outlet They actually have like Alligator, ostrich, kangaroo, others... I just got turkey and some spices for my chicken. Then we went to Baker's Square for dinner... By the time they got back here about 5 hours had past!!! I was like hu?!?! So no swimming... They just stayed for a bit chatted and left. They live an hour north of me.
So it was actually pretty decent. Just not used to kid's fighting over who is going to hold my hand, walk by me, touch me, step on my flip flops, wipe food on me, stake out the lemon in my water, my nephew kept pinching me and it felt like my rt arm was getting body fat checked every 2 seconds, and throw paper wads down my shirt. Overall it was fun :lmao:

You got off pretty easy! Taking my kids out I need a rope to tie them together. My 2 year old likes to play dare devil and hope in and out of carts, my other one runs away from me and my younger son won't walk if he doesn't like where we are going or won't get out of the car!

I just tell them they are lucky we are in public and I can't beat them :)

Yeah I heard that when I was little... I think that gene for kids got skipped over with me. I don't know... I guess it would be totally different if it was my own.. because obviously it would be the best... but other people's kids (my nieces and nephews I can handle for a few hours, days) other then that... not at all. I find them very annoying.

Though my co-workers kid is amazing. I mean he's like a little Doogie Howzer (spelling). I'm so impressed. He was doing algebra at the age of 6! Obviously his dad has a 10 pound brain also.. but tells me the kid scares him. Dinner conversations talk about the Titanic going down.. and how many chambers were flooded and exactly how they flooded and what exactly caused teh ship to sink. The kid carries around a calculator! I was like WHooaaa... Pretty neat!

My younger son is highly functioning autisic and he is the same way, he can also tell you what day your birthday falls on in 5 years, he has memorized the pattern of the calendar, how a central vac and furnace works. He could divide and multipy in grade two. Only difficulty he will have is abstract thinking (problem solving) which in the grand scheme of things is life, but he gets by so far. My oldest son is the genius of the family can't do algebra yet but if we showed him I know he could. I promised him 20 bucks for every A he got on his report card, he got all A's through the entire school year! I owe him like 500 bucks!

G'morning Tre! :coffee: I noticed you upped your cals from the 1200-ish range to the 1700-ish range. Has your body reacted in any way at all? I'm curious because I'm going to start playing with my cal range too but don't want to bloat or blow up too much.

Have a great day! :)

HA HA HA... Well I was friggen starving at 1250. Also, with trying to add on muscle now that I just entered back into muscle building... Can't really create muscle out of nothing... So upped the cals to 1750. Energy wise and work-out wise I have been a machine. Not counting this past weekend (Hungarian festivities) the cals seems to keep me content at the moment. I did not weight myself today 'cuz it obviously it is going to be high... Yep bloated and a lot of excess water... but I'm not cutting right now so I had to switch mind gears and just realize I'm in a different cycle. I have some big goals in my head since I dieted down and I saw where I needed to add muscle. The body is very anabolic right now so... my as well take control and make good use of it. Inhibiting calories is not going to get me to where I need to go... so to get there I will deal with some bleh.. side affects of doing it. Can't be on stage 365 days of the year and expect to see any noticeable change. You have to hit each phase hard as possible and make the most of it and try and not focus on the negatives but what you are doing... Again all transformation ;)

Honey you see no eyeballs talking to them only the crown of their heads!!!

Note: Wear turtlenecks!!!

Glad you had a great evening haven't been to your log yet but hope the date went well?!?!

Well yeah... it doesn't help that you know they are talking about you because they eye you up and down, but they speak in another language so you have no idea what they are saying, but you know it can't be good!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

You were talking bout your Hungarian festivities and feeling guilty about eating the way you did. Let me tell you, sister!!!! I had AT LEAST 4000 calories from Saturday night to last night - and not ONE BIT of guilt! lol The aunt is here for a week too  - so I'm sure that contributed to my refeed :D

Well... I'm not going to even think about... anything from this past weekend. It basically helped me to not crave any ... carbs. I think I may have a struggle the first few days in Hungary.. I think after that I will be all good. I get sick of breads quick. I couldn't even look at bread when I got back from England after a week. With all the walking and hiking I'll be doing I'll probably end up burning anything off I would have eaten.

HA HA HA I'm so last minute when it comes to packing. It takes me like maybe 30 minutes top to pack for a week. So I'll start packing the night before.. it'll take me maybe an hour. I was told to not pack a lot anyway because we'll be wearing the same stuff over, and sharing clothes (twice the wardrobe).. and no real need. Especially she said if I want to buy clothes there. I am however getting all my birthday present bought for people and all my bills, and mail, and flower watering, grass mowing stuff organized. The only real thing I need to get right now is a digital camera. I bought all my supps over the weekend so that's done, get my vaccinations this thursday, and I'm done!!!

Haha...looks like a few of us were part of the 4000 calorie club this weekend. The aunt no longer pays any visits, so I don't even have that to attribute. I am totally FINE until you make me sit in front of bread...then I can't stop eating everything in sight!

I know in life nothing is for free and that I must work to get to where I want to be. I prefer to get mine the hard way and refuse to listen to those that say I'm unrealistic. I will make that statement a reality and then they are speechless. Nothing fuels me more then for someone to say that I can't do something. I will do it and do it 10 times better then they even thought possible. Like my saying says "Striving for the top" ; It's much more difficult then striving for the bottom. I ony say all of that because that actually assisted in all my goals and hard work over the years.

Eh. Calf slacker I guess. :velvett: I wear long pants most of the time and they're already pretty big.

I'll shoot for 19 inches before the end of the year. (If I have time. ;))

It's the red hair. ;) :lmao:

:wavey: Hiya beautiful I hope you had a great day!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Random Stuff:
I'm sick of oatmeal exploding in the microwave.. ERRRRR

I just got a bright idea
Since most people don't know the actual names of muscles, I will start adding muscles into my log with a brief description like the action, insertion, origin, synergists, antagonists, injuries, stretches, and strengtheing exercises, etc... Maybe even a picture ;) This will also help me keep up to par on them!
So I may take a group and do a group a week... Because if I only took 1 muscle a week yeah we would be here for a long time. So.... Starting this week I will post them in my daily log and then have it there for the duration of the week.

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

If you have any questions just ask about terminology o.k. ;)

GROUP 1 = Quadriceps

MUSCLE Of the Day
RectusFemoris.jpg

Rectus Femoris
– one of the four quadriceps muscles, it is located on the anterior femur and is the longest and most anterior of the quads. It is a compound muscle – crossing both the hip and knee.

(Where the muscle originates)
Origins = Anterior Head - AIIS (anterior inferior iliac spine) Posterior Head – upper margin of acetabulum

(Where the muscle Inserts)
Insertion = via Patella & its ligament to tibial tuberosity

Actions = Compound Muscle: Extends leg at the knee
Flexes thigh at hip

Synergists = These muscles assist Rectus Femoris
In Leg Extension: Vastus Group
In Hip Flexion: Iliopsoas, Sartorius, semitendinosis

Antagonists = These muscles work against Rectus Femoris
In Leg Flexors:
Hamstrings, Gastrocnemius
In Hip Extenders:

Nerve Supply = Femoral Nerve: L2-L4

Associated Trigger Points = At superior musculotendonous junction - and can refer pain to the entire anterior thigh, but most especially near the knee

Stretching = Standing Quad Stretch w/ hip extension emphasis

Strengthening = Squats and Leg Press

Top Bottom
