Ok I keep hearing and reading posts of people using gear and gaining 30-40 lbs on the first cycle.
My question is , is this usual ? are these trainees far from genetic limits when they start to use gear ? Is the weight bloat and water weight ?
Anybody have any input as to what they think a 8-10 week cycle should yeild in the way of LBM gained (muscle only ). And strength gain ?

That cannot be answered intelligently. Everyone is different, everyone responds differently to different gear. No mention of what gear is being used, and in what dosages. For a first cycle you can try the basic dbol/test/deca stack, eat like a horse and train fanatically....This gained me 27lbs on my first cycle, ended up dropping of 7 of it afterwards. Strength went thru the roof though, was benching 350lbs 10 times at a body weight just below 200lbs. Water weight will also depend on diet and if you are using an anti-e with your aromitasing gear. Long story short, alot of variable, but yes you can yield huge gains if everything is covered correctly. Diet, Training, Rest, Gear.

Everything Camaro said is true. I will say the further you are from your potential the easier it is to put on a sick amount of weight. Also the closer you are than the more dramatic the effect will be.

I always think a 220 natty who cycles and hits 230-235 improves far more than a 170 natty who hits 210 does. He just knows his body/diet/training that much better...

I agree with both above statements. Before I ever did a cycle I had 8 years of weight training and I knew my body. I gained almost 30lbs and kept about 20 of it. I went with Sust/Dbol and a good PCT.

Protein Factory's Pulse High Powered Triple Layered Protein Bars, are delicious!

These bars contain 26 g protein, 19% whey isolate, 2.5% Whey Peptides and are soy free! These bars were created to have a great tasting bar using as much whey isolate as possible, some hydrolyzed whey for a peptide source, some caseinate for anti-catabolic effect, no soy, and as little hydrolyzed gelatin as possible.

Voila, we did it.

It was very hard to create a bar without soy, because soy gives the bar its soft texture and keeps it from getting as hard as a rock. We used the hydrolyzed gelatin, but at only 2.5%. Read more...

It all depends on your receptors, what kind of a response that get from the roids. 30-40g is in reach, but by doing that if it means eating everything in sight, fast foods, EVERYTHING, to get to that weight, i dont think its worth it. Oh yeah, your strength will skyrocket, but is it worth the risk of putting on too much fat? That would be an individual answer. Ive done both. I started out at 175 and in 3 months i weighed 220. I was fat and bloated. Pissed out 10lbs 2 weeks later, and eventually got back down to 195, where i still had 12%bf. I've gone on a 10 wk cycle where i bulked very clean. Starting weight= 190 @ 10%, End weight= 205 @ 11% with minimal fat gain. The latter was best for me.

6 pak, is right. Why get all worked up about how weight you gain? If you gain more then 20-25 ilbs you can bet that a lot of it is fat and water. Why not reach for the gaol of 15-20 lbs and have minimal water and fat weight. I would rather gain 15 ilbs and only increase my bf by 1% and not get as much strength, then gain 25 lbs and piss it off and increase my bf by 6%. The strength will be there. You don't want to get to overly strong too, I like my joints and the way my ligaments work. prop67 don't worry about what everyone else gets. It is about you, it's your body. Don't worry about things like putting on 25 lbs as opposed to 15. And don't worry about putting 60 lbs on your bench as opposed to 45. Look at the whole picture. What do you want. Yeah eat everything all the bullshit you want and gain 15 lbs of fat and water. Or eat clean and train really really hard and put on 15-20 lbs of solid mass. It is the whole picture that counts. Peace
