I'm 5'5 and 165 at 12% bodyfat. I'm on a cutting cycle. Here is a sample day: Meal 1: 5 eggs (4 white and 1 yolk) with a slice of low fat American cheese and a nectarine. Meal 2: Salad with a can of tuna in it, peppers, onions, and a tablspoon of blue chese dressing. Meal 3: Myoplex low carb bar with a teaspoon of peanut butter and two strawberries. Meal 4: Hamburger with extra lean beef wiht a slice of low fat American cheese and salsa on it and two cups of green beans. Meal 5: Chicken breast with a slice of lowfat American cheese a tablespoon of blue cheese dressing and 8-10 spears of asparagus. Meal 6: Whey protein and a tablespoon of peanut butter. My post workout meal is 50 grams of a carb drink and 30 grams of a whey powder.

Approximate macronutrient and calories: Protein = 180g Fat = 50-60g Carbs. 110g. Roughly 1600-1700 calories. I've been doing 35 minutes of cardio at about 400 calories four times/wk.

Supplements: glutamine, ephedrine, multivitamin, multimineral, vitamin c, vitamin e, glucosamine condroitin and hca.

Hi
I'm not at all a "diet expert" but let me comment.
Do you do cardio in the morning?
The diet seems almost perfect to me.
Just 2 notes: maybe casein protein could be better at night. Or some cottage cheese.
I would suplement with fish oils. Like 6 grs/ day.´
I also see a lot of cheese. I really don't know if this could the best.
But it seems good.

Good luck

your diet looks great... is the blue cheese regular? in which case it might add bad cals...
as for supps. have you looked into ala ?
good luck :D

I am taking ala. Sorry if I forgot to mention that. The cardio I do is in the morning. However, I cannot do cardio without eating a small meal. I feel I'd get a headache, vomit, or passout otherwise, even with the added energy of eca. I do eat 2-3 slices of lowfat american cheese a day, adding 80-100 calories. The blue cheese is regular, but at 1-2 tablespoons/day I can live with it. I'm going to get some flaxseed oil. Thanks for that advice.
If somebody could give me some advice as to how to do cardio on an empty stomach I'd appreciate it. I wake up starving! Thanks.

If your 5'5" 165 with 12% and eating 1600 calories you are SURE to lose muscle with out some kind of AAS. 12% is not fat. Therefore your body wants to hold on to it since its really not an abundant tissue in your body. If you wish to get lower bf% your protein has to be higher than 180g (if you go via the natural route). I would suggest 2000 calories with 60% of calories in the form of protein, 25% in the from of simple carbs, and 15% in the from of EFA's. Just eating alot of protien itself has a thermogenic and anti-cataboic effect on the body. So with those ratios you got:
300g protein
125g carbs (simple carbs, split the dose 62g preworkout 63g post)
33g fat

P.S. I expect good karma for writing you out this fucking diet! ;)

So Primal X, you're telling me to add 350 overall calories and up my protein by over 100% if I truly want to lose fat. What if I were to tell you hyprothetically that I was taking 25 mg of winstrol, 80mcg of t-3 and 1 clen pill per day? Would my present diet be okay then? Also, by eating a 250 calorie meal before running, (30g protein, 10g fat, and 10 g carbs) am I still getting a fat burning effect out of a 35-40 min. cardio session?

If your taking 80mcg's of t-3 a day then you DEFINATELY need to up your protein intake. Like I said before, protein is thermogenic and anti-catabolic, so using it as a main nutrient during a cutting phase is the BEST way to burn fat and hold on to muscle tissue. The 25mgs of winny will help with catobolism, but lets face it, that dose is too low to effectively hold on to muscle tissue during periods of low food energy and high exercise stress. .2mgs of clen per day will not do much of anything either. As far as the "fat-burning" effects of cardio, it is pretty useless. Cardio is pointless and catabolic and should only be used for two reasons, 1. to aid in restoring thyroid function after using thyroid medication, and 2. to give the cardiovascular system exercise. Your best bet is to keep doing what your doing but add more protein and be sure to NOT do cardio on an empty stomach. More karma please. ;)

Thanks for the feedback. I hear you on the winny. I had great results about 6 months ago with 50g/day. My quantity is very limited now though. thus the 25g/day. With the increased protein, I've heard that that converts to glucose just like carbs, thus I should increase fat instead. I had pretty good results with BodyoPus last summer for six weeks, but don't want to do it again do to a sensitive stomach and the carbup then no carb roller coaster thing was hell. I'm glad to hear that about the cardio though, as everyone else says to do it on an empty stomach, which to me is just damn impossible. My stomach is just very sensitive and I'm trying to figure out how to ingest 300 g of protein/day. Even over six meals it's 50g/meal which is about 20 more than i'm used to having.
Finally, what of cycling clen for two weeks and eca for two for about eight weeks? I've heard good and bad things about this concept as well. Thanks again.
