Look at rape statistics - most studies show that around a quarter of all women report being raped. If I remember right most occur when a girl is 11-18. Most occur by someone who they already know. Most rapists walk free. many go unreported because the rape victim is victimized twice - police questioners act as though she is guilty - the whole legal proceedings can be traumatic (imagine being 13 and having a defense attorney accuse you of being some slut in front of jury witnesses-asking you all sorts of provocative questions making you look trashy - questioning your honjesty etc).

What kind of rape was it. Guy jumping out of the bushes kinda rape. Or rape where him and her were gettin' it on, then she started backing out while both were almost naked, and he got a couple extra couple minutes of feels in. She got pissed, and yelled rape.

I ask, cuz a few court cases went to the jury to decide when does it stop being consensual sex, and becomes rape. And who do you believe? Since she's already consented to getting naked and allowing her privates to get touched. Does he stop immediately, allowed a couple minutes to plead? 3 minutes later? Very tough legal decisions, and how do you decide who to believe when no one was there?

thats exactly it...well said- How and why would you want to continue with a woman who does not want you any more at that point??? to me and most normal healthy men- the act of sex is for private intimacy and /or an exchange of feelings and expression between one another.....Rape is violence and control issues..it is not an act of sexual intimacy at all....

if that happned to my gf, heads would roll. Rape is fucking cowardess in the worst fashion. I have no sense of repoire or empathy with a rapist, they are the worst type of scum out there cause their victims are usually young, and I mean really young women, who really can't defend themselves. Once a girl says no just stop, there is no need to continue.. These people are diseases, they prey on the weak when it is convenient, like any disease they should be extermintated without any remorse. They are no longer human in my eyes, they deserved to be destroyed....

There are two sides to every story. I know girls who have accused guys of "raping" them just because the guy didn't want a relationship after sex. I also know of girls accusing guys of raping them because they guy WOULDN'T have sex with them. So personally unless I really know the girl and trust her word I don't hold a whole lot of stock in the "he raped me" bullshit.

No. The hard part is *proving* it in court. These cases are harder to prosecute, cuz they legally are at the stage of being naked in bed. Now that next 3 minutes or whatever is what constitutes a crime. But how do you prove that beyond a reasonable doubt? What if the semen on her, came from her during the "consensual" part? What part of the sex was during the consensual part, and what part wasn't consensual? If the person was under the influence, does he get an extra 2 minutes? What if she changed her mind 2 or 3 times during that exchange?

Those cases are much harder to prosecute, any lawyer will tell you. Fortunately, these only make up a small % of rapes (date rapes). Most rapes are still the types of rapes we envision in our head. The violent, rip off her clothes, smack her, rape her -- type rapes.

Finally someone I agree with. I do agree 100% people who do the "rip off her clothes, smack her" type of rape deserve nothing less than death for their crime. However the whole getting naked starting to have sex is far to much of a grey area. If some chick climbed on our pole and started riding then suddenly we had second thoughts and said "no this isn't right" she keeps going and gets off does that mean "we were raped"?? Wonder how many of us would report that.
