R-ALA with No Carbs?

Couldn't find this anywhere ...

Will it help to take R-ALA if you're already on really low carbs?

I take a little simple carbs with my creatine during workout, but not much else ... (Get a few from eating veggies, nuts, etc ...)

What do you think?

No real point to it. you take the r-ALA to help stabilize your blood sugar when you eat carbs. If you are not eating any then there is no blood sugar to worry about stabilizing. I suppose you could take it just for it's antioxidant qualities if you choose.

Nelson, that would mean that r-ala is not keeping carbs out of your bloodstream. Since there's no carbs eaten and there's an impact on blood glucose...
