anyways, i saw a thread you made about you just finished dieting...I was wondering what you do when you cut( training, cardio, diet, supps, etc.)

Could you post what you do?

Hey Bro, I just seem this thread, I havent been on in a couple days. I had a photoshoot on Friday that I have been preparing for, didnt go as well as I expected. I showed up in competition form and was really pumped up about the shoot. Well, the regular photographer, the one that was supposed to do the shoot got sick the day before and sent some other dude to do the shoot. This dude completely fucked everything up. He set the lighting from the side, rather than above and in front which helps with ab definition. I tried telling him to change it but he said that he couldnt. After about an hour of shooting, and about 150 pics later, about 10 turned out the way I wanted. Oh well. Anyway, to answer your question, I weight train 6 days per week, cardio is 4 mornings per week at 35mins on the treadmill, diet is a medium carb low fat high protein diet. The main supp I use for cutting is ECA. I cleaned my PM box out.

no i didnt get it. did you send to cyber-rights.? diet is going good. i just bought a food scale to weigh the food. and i got a source for my chicken and steak.

Here ya go: I am currently only lifting 5 days on - 2 off
Mon: Upper back, deads, traps
Tues: Chest, abs
Weds: Quads, Hams, Calves
Thurs: Delts, traps, abs
Frid: Bis, tris, forearms, calves
Sat: off
Sun: off
 
Everything is done digitally, so when the shoot was over I sat down and went through about 150 pics which he brought up on his pc and picked out the best ones, which werent many. The actual prints and DVD wont be available until monday.

Honestly, I blew it away. I didnt get any black and white done, all color prints, so I'll see which I like better. I think I was about 8-9%BF in the avatar pic, and weighed in at 195. This past friday morning I weighed in at 205 and was most likely around 6%BF. The better results this year compared to last year are the results of a better diet, made some adjustments to last years diet and it worked awesome.
 
i give you prop's and so does my lady. she cant believe your endomorph and she wont as long as she see's pics of you 7% and under lol.
if anyone needs to get straight with a cutting diet i suggest you hit up this bro right here!!

I saw you ran t3 for this shoot? What brand did you use and how did you run it? I'm thinking of going with a steady 50-75mcg/day for about 6 weeks...Also, did you run any juice with it?

What? you gotta be kidding me machine. You are an endo? You look very ectomorphic in your avatar. Basically because you have long muscles. Are you sure on this? Are you naturally lean, or do you bust your chops to get there? Here are some main characteristics of the Endo somatotype.

Endomorph:
-soft musculature
-rounder face
-short neck
-wide hips
-heavy fat storage


This classification does recognise a total of eighty eight sub-categories. The 3 main categories and level of dominance are based on a scale of 1-7 though, so you can really be one with many traits of another. Dont get me wrong bro .. I am not telling you what somatotype you are .. lol ... I just always thought that you were an ecto from your avatar pic.

No matter what you are .. .your looking good though.

Mavy, If I was to use a pic of me when im not cutting, you wouldnt even have to question it, believe me. Ive gotten better over the past few years to where I can keep a cleaner diet in the offseason and keep my bf levels to a minimum, but honestly, I have to work very hard to get into the single digits bf and then have to work very hard to stay there, even if I add a cheat day once a week I feel that it is slowing my progress or making me take a step backwards. I will most likely be able to tough it out and stay in the low bf range for another 6 weeks or so and then I will slowly start putting a little bf back on, I can only stay extremely strict for so long, it starts to really take a toll on your personal life. Ive learned over the years that looking great is an awesome feeling, but being able to take your fiance or wife out to a normal dinner and not having to worry about diet can be just as important. But, yes Mavy, I am definatlely an endo, but like you said, and I explained this to Georgie, there are different levels of being an endo. I like to believe Im somewhere in the middle.

T3 is a very tricky drug and can definately help out when cutting, but it can also make you very flat lookinig and definately burn hard earned muscle as well as fat, something I learned the hard way. I have used T3 a couple times and know how my body reacts to different doses, so I know what works best for me. What you dont want to do is use it too early in your dieting, T3 should be used in the later stages of your diet, the leaner you get the harder it will be to lose the fat, this is where T3 can be very benificial. I can get my bf down pretty low with ECA alone and a strict diet, NO cheat days, and then when I feel my progress is slowing I will add the T3. I have went as high as 100mcg, but feel that I can get the same results at 75mcg. Hope this helps bro. Remember, and you should already know this, do not run T3 without something to counteract its catabolic affects, such as test or fina works great.
 
Congrads, you seem very dedicated bro. I do here you though where you cant let it control your life. YOu have to live a little. Like anything .. moderation is key.

Moderation is definately the key for me in the offseason, which is 8 months out of the year, the other 4 I spend cutting/dieting. Those 4 months though, there is no moderation for me, I get in a zone and food has no other meaning to me then effects it has on the body, its amazing, I have no desire to cheat or even drink a beer, once I start seeing the results there's no looking back. Now that Ive had my pics done, I will stay strict with my diet for another week, go on a nice vacation for a week, and then slowly bring in the moderation factor, time to enjoy the summer. Its been 4 months since Ive had even a sip of beer, I catch some heat from my friends since I used to be a big partier, but now I'll start having some beers once a week, and have a cheat day, makes life a little more easier. Plus it will make the old lady happy, shes 100% Italian and loves going out to eat, so now I'll be taking her out every Sat night for some Italian, mmm :p
 
hey machine01 what are your thougths on gh when coming off your diet? i hear it will help to keep fat to a minimum when you come off contest diet.
 
I wish that I could give GH a try, right now though bodybuilding is something I do because I love it and it is pretty much just a hobby for me, I study nutrition and am working toward my degree. I have no desire to take it to the next level, photoshoots are pretty much the extent of it, and I prepare for them like a comp, its fun. I try to keep my priorities straight and in order to get the most out of GH I would have to be able to spend the cash to run it for the right amount of time, and right now with a wedding coming up and buying a house, its just not in the budget and I dont see it being in the budget any time soon. Hopefully in a couple years I will have some extra cash to buy a 6 month supply and give it a real try, but right now the basic cycles are all, I guess thats why I emphasize so much on diet and training, I dont use that much in the means of supps to make up for mistakes in diet.
 
with gh becoming cheaper and cheaper nowadays its worth giving it a run. when i hit 9% bodyfat im gonna treat my self to 3 kits. then run it one month before diet is over till i run out of gh. what ECA stack do recomend at the moment? i hear san tight is relly popular

Im not sure what san tight is, I make my own and see awesome results. I use NoDoz for caffeine and either pick ephedrine HCL up at the local Indian owned convient store, or I order it off the internet at D&E pharma. I dont use the aspirin any more and really dont believe that its needed, so its an EC stack.

Lemme ask you , how many beats per minutes do you maintain ? What range do you work ? like 70 % of your max heart rate ?

to be completely honest with you, I dont pay attention to that, I just stick do the cardio and I see results from it, thats all Im worried about. Whether or not I would see better results If I took the time to check my beats per min and shit like that, who knows.

do you exaust yourself ? Or is it a light to moderate intensity ? can you still keep a conversation while doing it ?

I'm italian and believe, sundays are hard....Damn food it too good :p

I'm not talkin' about the Olive Garden shit either, real italian food is where its at :chomp: I'd get my ass kicked if my dad caught me in an Olive Garden ;)
