Questin bout bodytype and my cycle

Started my 6th week of Test E only cycle at 400mg. Doin good so far up bout 8 lbs(i know its not much) but my strength is through the roof. I am an ectomorph..big time. If i didnt work out and eat I would probably be 140Lbs. Im 5'9 before cycle i was 176 now I float between 182-185(happy with that). My question is why do some days I love how I look and others I look really flat? I may try this. Carb load for 3-4 days then cut carbs for 3 days up protien and water. Would this make me look more dry and hard?? Hope this makes sense.
 
Being an ectomorph you could probably handle higher carbs to stay fuller. Make sure you're diet is on also. Most ectos that I've worked with always thought they were eating a lot more than they actually were.
 
Well here is an example day.
5am-flaxseed oil,arginine,protein shake
7am-oatsmeal,peanut butter and wheat bread
10am-6eggs
1-tuna on wheat bread(no mayo)
3-protein shake and I add "carb-up" maltodextrin 40g.
6-chicken or fish with some kinda veggie
before bed-either cottage cheese or another shake.
Enough cals?? Not tryin to "bulk" per say just tryin to add some muscle without gaining fat. Im probably 9% lookin to get around 6% without losing muscle.

If you're trying to lose fat that's not a good diet. While dieting you will be flat so you're going to have to deal with that. You need protein in every meal.

I dont even think your getting a gram of protein per lbs with that diet..
 
ya man, you seem to be lacking on consistancy in your diet as far as your macronutrient ratios throughout the day. This may explain the changes in your fullness and appearance from day to day. Consistant protein intake is a must EACH meal and EACH day. Carbs can vary depending on output(high carbs in the AM and around W/O times) but as a rule they should be generally Low GI sources(with the possible exception of PWO). If you are ectomorphic Id recommend a 300% carb intake every 4th day(I.E. If your eating 100 grams ED, up it to 300 every 4th day)
