Quad injection problem, what happened

So, here's the story. 8th overall injection of 500mg/week of test e. first 3 were in the glutes then I switched to quads. First time I've ever done quads. I did 2 injects in my right quad, then 2 in the left quad quad. The other day I moved back to my right quad for the weekly injection. I'm pinning with 1.5in 23g needles. I was about an inch into my quad when I hit something, almost felt like a hard ligament or something...there was no pain, just my entire quad twitched severely and suddenly, I backed it out a little bit then pushed in again and the same thing happened. I then pulled out entirely. More than a normal amount blood came out, but nothing real severe, I have a little bruising there 2 days later, no pain at all. I changed needles and shot without any problems in my left quad.

So what happened? What did I hit that would cause that? Totally freaked me out? How do I prevent it again?

I hit a vain once, and a nerve once. It happens lol. I just just move it an inch and stick it back in. Nothing is stopping me from getting more test!

I had the exact same experience last week. I am on my first cycle and everything was going fine until I injected my right quad and as the needle went in, it sort of hit something, and my leg twitched instantly. It was a weird feeling. Not nice, I even posted a thread on it. I noticed I pinned a little towards the front of my quad than I usually do. Maybe that had something to do with it.
Are you feeling the test yet mate

^^^^^^ thanks. Good to know its not serious. For future reference, for others that may reference this thread in the future via search, other than a slight small bruise, there was absolutely no negative side effects from this incident.
