PWO Shake, how close to bed time is okay?

Since I usually workout at nighttime I am concerned about my post workout shake. I know that drinking one is imperative to growth but I am worried that if I take it too close to bed time it may be going towards weight gain, and not the good kind. What sort of time allotment should there be? I have been gaining some unwanted weight lately and I am thinking this might have something to do with it.

If you could post the time you work out and the time you take your shake maybe that will be helpful.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Doesnt matter what time of day or how close to bedtime you have your pwo shake, the fact is you need it. It's sole purpose is to replenish muscle glycogen. It will not be stored as fat. Actually, You would also benefit with another pro/carb(consisting of lean meat and complex carbs) meal 45min-1hr after pwo, if you can squeeze it in. My guess is that there is another descrepancy in your diet.
