Pull-ups

Let's say you're doing a chest workout (or any other group but the back)

Would it be a good idea to do 3 sets of pull-ups at the end ?

[The reasoning is that the more you do pull-ups the better you're]
 
well i knew a guy who set up a pullup bar in between his bedroom door, and everytime he entered or left he would do 3 pullups. i guess he left his room and came back alot. anyway he was able to do 30+ pullups in a single set with in a few months or like 6 weeks.. it sounds like a good idea.
 
Pull ups are awesome. There are many different types and they each product killer results. My whole workout is based on pull ups and dips and I love the results. It is true that pull ups are some of the hardest exersices to do. I would suggest working them into your normal workout somehow. I do pyramids with mine (1,2,3,4...). By the time I am done with my workout I have done about 30+. I don't know about doing as many as I can in one set cause I havn't tried.
 
i like to throw them all over the workout. finish an exercise, go do a set. go do something else, do another. it ensures you are fresh for your next set, you can rest a bit, and still keep going with your workout. i hate resting for my next set of pullups. its like waiting for your next whooping.

I just hope my shoulder/totator cuff would agree with it :)

Those are true words. I think it's also one of the hardest exercises to start. I grab the bar get ready...and then wait a second more while I try to psyche myself up for it.

lol, i find myself doing the same thing. My arms get really shaky because of the whoopin im about to get.
