Very so often, like, twice a day or so, my cats go ape and run up and down for up to an hour pretty much continuously at full speed. I think it's cute, but is this normal for cats? My old cat at my mom's only does that when it's time to put her outside for a crap. These have an indoor litter tray and it's not that either. It surprised the telephone repair man last week as one of hem would go flying past hime every few minutes...

And yes as soon as I can I will start another "post piccie of your cat here" thread so you can all post cat pictures too...

My cat Felix freaks out a couple times a day too...

He will run down the hall and jump 3 feet in the air doing a Ninja kick with his back feet. :lmao:

He is a bad MOFO :kitty: :kitty:

Rumor has it they are playing with a ghost kitty. I use to have a cat that did that every night. Esp after the cat shit. I figured it was just a bad case of hemroids. But I was told by someone who believes in ghosts the cats play with another ghost cat. I couldn't find any other reason at the time so hence, that became my logic.

Perfectly normal. I call it "freak out time" and depending on the age/health/fitness of the cat can happen anywhere from once a day to several times a day. It's a good way for them to release pent up energy and have fun all at the same time. My 3 engage in this activity daily and I would worry if they didn't.

my cat started doing something weird since we moved...he'd stop...look at the wall...look at me..his eyes would get huge...and he'd start making these ungodly noises that can't even be described, they kinda sound like "BLURBALARGHALARG", while he runs around through my closet into my dads room, yells over in there, runs through, stops and looks at me in his puffy state, and runs back in and makes noises again. he will occasionally jump on my bed and kinda purposely hang on the corner with his claws like he's about ready to fall off.

My youngest dog will run up and down the hallway at night when everyone is asleep. I think she likes sliding on the wood floors.:D

.............or maybe she is just nuts.:insane: ;)

My cat (cricket) likes to get a running start from the hallway into the living room and bounce off my head while I'm innocently sleeping on my couch with the remote in my hand. My other cat (Samson) is so old and fat that he just sneaks up behind me on the couch and slaps at my arm then rolls over and goes to sleep.

my cats deal is to wait for me to walk by and then she (tigra) will with all 4 arms jump and grab ahold of my leg and hold on for a quick ride.
