Proscar

I haven't seen much information posted about Proscar. I am 20 years old and am about to start a Deca+Winny or Primo+Var cycle. I am very concerned with acne (I've been on accutane 3 times to no avail) and hairloss. I was wondering how Proscar would stop these side effects (especially the acne). I read an old post that said it wasn't good to take with Deca. However, a recent MuscleMag article alluded to the fact that it was. Please give me any information on this and the average price paid per pill.

I'm in the same boat. Proscar won't do anything for acne though. I've been sticking to mild anabolics for fear of hairloss (father is bald but father on my mothers side is not and my hairline is thining as in the front as well) and was going to start using propecia and a shampoo which aids in blocking dht. I'm also wondering if these products will stop hairloss when on a test or dbol cycle.

I read that Proscar will help with acne and hairloss because it will block about 50% of 5AR. By blocking 5AR the sides from DHT and DHN will be greatly reduced.

Did anybody else read about this in the new muscle mag.

I really feel that proscar and propecia are not worth the money!! Because there are many possible sides to this drug...Use tropicals b/c most people really do not need propecia or proscar unless your have 20 hairs left and you want to keep that hair slicked over to the other side...Nizoral and rogaine are a better solution to fight hair loss with a cycle because DHT plays an important role.....Plus if you use smart dosages of test then you should not have to worry about the hair thing!! Do a search on products about topicals that are more effective then the pill.

Point is you can use both. I can get Propecia for really cheap. About 1 year supply for $100. I think that's worth it. It alot more convenient then using creams for the scalp and i already use a dht blocking shampoo. I'm gonna try it out and see how that works.

Reelbig, do some more research on exactly what type of drugs you are dealing with. I believe that the magazine was refering to aromatizing drugs like testostrone. Proscar inhibits the aromatizing process. In your situation, the drugs you speak of do not aromatize and are already DHT derivitives. Therefore, Proscar would technically be useless. I would deffinately recomend Nizoral in your situation.

its been said by prostate docs whatever you call them that if you use Test always use proscar unless you want severe problems later liek surgery etc..
