There's lots of misinformation in this thread.
The low-intensity bullshit is exactly that...bullshit. It's something the cardio equipment people "made up" in order to sell their products to fat old lazy bitches who don't want to work hard.
Sitting in your chair right now reading this...you are burning WAAAAAAAAAY more fats than carbs, percentage wise. Does that mean that sitting in your chair is better for losing fat than sprinting? Of course not. The more calories you burn, the more fat you will lose...not matter how it is done...whether it's sprinting, walking, doing summersaults, having buttsex with your boyfriends, or banging your head against the wall.
If you're really concerned with this burning fat bullshit...just do some research and have some tests done by an exercise physiologist and find out where your cross-over point is. That is the intensity where the precent of fat you are burning and the percent of carbs you are burning "cross over" when put on a graph. Then adjust your intensity as you see fit.
But that still won't do shit...it's the fucking calories people...not the intensity.
