Hey guys theres this one chick in my math class who I kinda dig, and I think she might be into me. Anyways we talked on and off in class this year, and looking back at it i TOTALY fucked up. At times I was hecka talkative, at other times I would be too shy to even talk to her. In fact, the last week of school, we didnt even talk at all. We didnt even say bye on the last day of school altho we talked pretty much every day up to that. Anyway, how does this email look:.

I personally love being called "dude". I think that most women do...

I'd suggest fully writing out words too. Unless you're text messaging her, it's just a grand plan to abbreviate to that extent.

OK OK thank god I didnt send it thats why I have u folks here. I thought a humorously toned message would be appropriate because it doesnt scream "OMG I NEED U OMG I LOVE U" as much as a letter that says "My dear, I am so regretful that I did not communicate fully with you". Anyways I dont wanna write a love letter, just a thing saying "hey, see ya around".
 
ok, tell us the reason you can't talk to her in person? school is over and she moved back home? you in college?
 
So basically, I shouldnt even send it...is the basic message I get from here. Well, I don't think I can approach her in person. But if I do...what should I say?

how old are you bro? while a letter can be "cute" and effective in the right situation, those situations are few and far between, especially when you don't really talk to this chick often. why not talk to her in person?
 
It's summer vacation right...are you going to slip the note under her front door or give it to someone to hand to her while you're just out of sight peeking out from behind a tree to see how she reacts?

I love being called dude. I can't express to you how good it feels to be talked to as if I'm a 16 year old boy. I love that. I think it shows that someone sees me as a strong manly woman. Sometimes I call my husband "Miss" too so he feels that I acknowledge his softer side.

Why don't you just call her?

bran, the reason is because I'm very shy when approaching smoking hot chicks and talking openly to them. I thought this type of message would be good to crack the ice so to speak? TODAY is the last day of school, and I am only going to two periods, neithero f which she is in. So basically I'd have to approach her at lunch when shes in the middle of all her friends and start pouring my heart out about how I regret not talking to her. See what I mean?

Yes, please spell out all the words properly..

I'm not a big fan of being called "dude" when I first meet someone.. it has it's place though, if you know each other fairly well already. :)

Also, if you want to see her before next year, I'd alter that last line. Just say in a casual tone that if she feels like getting together over the summer, to give you a call.
 
There's no reason to be nervous in that situation though. Worst case scenario, she doesn't feel the same way. Things aren't meant to be. You know you spoke your mind and don't have to have regrets. Best case scenario, she's into you. Either way if you send her something you don't have to play "what if". I'm all for speaking your mind and having no regrets.

And it's not "bitch" either. It's "uber bitch supreme". Or "dude".

ahh.. you're a shy guy in high school.. I understand. man I gotta tell you if you do give her a note do NOT do it in front of her friends or when she is near friends... the best thing to do is email her later or give her a phonecall if you're too shy to talk to her in person.. but I gotta tell ya unless she really likes you this kind of stuff rarely works... because it is seen as you being too scared to talk to her face to face as the other people here have said.

LOL yeah, bran. Im thinking: just chalk this one up to experience (no note, phone call, or anything), and don't let it happen again. This situation will teach me that not saying what you want to is 4000x worse than not saying anything. I guess that's a pretty important life lesson to learn, and the fact that I'm so pissed off about this will ensure that I learned it, eh?

You can also learn another good lesson hear by just sucking it up and talking to her. I understand nerves at your age, but it will feel much better if you just talk to her.

no problem. I think you're making the right decision actually especially if you are you going to see her next year. start fresh, don't make a last second desperation effort. either talk to her when she's around by herself or just wait till next year.

and guys, the kid is under a lot of stress lol, last day of school and his crush is slipping away and you guys almost black him out for backtalking to the girl who was totally ridiculing and demeaning a note he probably spent awhile putting some thought into (remember.. high school). I think he needs to have more balls to speak his mind like that in real life if he wants to get this girl some day. Raina can take it she's a big girl.

Yeah for a guy like me this letter is kind of a big deal b/c altho it only took me a minute to conjur,it was kinda personal...havta understand the reaction when it gets ridiculed. Its like you're about to read a poem youve worked at for a month after your mom died of cancer at a big reading and someone walks up to you and says "psh, youre kidding me, right? That thing? LOL you compared a seagull to what?? AHHAHA"

BTW bran, you described my situation to a T. I thought that was pretty cool, altho its probably not as amazing at it seems b/c I'd gather lots of people are in the same situation as I.

No need to bomb the hell out of the kid anymore. He was out of line but I'm over it.

Though in general I think that there's a zero tolerance policy about talking to any of the ladies here that way.
 
There are a couple of things I would do:
1. PM Raina and let her know you are sorry. Be sincere.
2. Find the thread on here that tells you what your name means.
3. Email her with the link and tell her to put in your professors name if it is funny.
3* She will then put her name in... your name in etc.
3** It will in a subtle way let her know you were thinking about her.

If she replies to your email post up her reply so I can analyze it. What she writes will tell a lot about her. Even if its one sentence.
 
I sent him a nice karma message...that's why he's in the positive range again.

I'm a class act AND a smart ass.

Oh I agree but I think he gets it now. I'm not saying it's okay....just that I think he gets it.

It's just weird to have anyone say something like that...especially since chat has such a screwy/fun tone to it. The only person who ever really calls me a bitch is my sister and that's totally merited. :)
