Prolactin and Progesterone?

Ive been doing research but I still dont understand the diff between these two and how it relates to steroids. I am currently cycling 450 deca and 250 sustanon(i know, i know, should be pinning more sauce than deca to avoid sex probs but ive never had any probs running the sauce lower than the deca).
I recently got some Dostinex and started with .25mg Tues/sat. My reason for doing this was my mood was taking a dive and i thought it could be due to the prolactin levels from the deca, plus I want to throw in some tren later. expensive but worth a try. My mood has seemed to improve since tuesday. Will it affect my progesterone levels too? What is the diff between prolactin and progesterone? Can progesterone be controlled by arimedex or nolvadex? Im not an endocronologist, so lay it out in layman's terms.

if your taking .5 dostinex every mon and thur that will be enough to keep those levels down and your mood up. your good

Prolactin is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland and is produced by both men and women daily but levels can be raised when using some types of AAS. High levels often result in sexual dysfunction, depressed mood and even lactating from your nipples. Dostinex is a dopamine agonist and dopamine signals the pituitary to slow the release of prolactin.

Progesterone is also a hormone found in both men and women and is a precursor to many other important hormones. Excessive levels of Progesterone can have an effect on breast tissue growth and thus gyno. Some AAS like Tren/Deca stimulate the progesterone receptor as they are also what is referred to as progestins. Hence when gyno occurs on these steroids we hear it referred to as Progesterone Gyno.

There is a lot of discussion about what exactly is Progesterone Gyno and what causes it but my own interpretation is that gyno can still only occur if high levels of estrogen are also present and certainly if you have high estro, prolactin and progesterone then your more likely to see gyno develop. It's my own belief that if you control estrogen levels on cycle with an AI you will limit if not eliminate any assocaited sides of gyno.
