Problem with my ps2 mod chip?

Got the mod installed, and after about a half an hour, the system stopped working. No browers, nothing. Even have trouble opening the tray.

Well, the lights come on though.

Anyone else have any trouble?

your best bet is to go buy a new one, switch trays, and return it.

THe guy who installed the chip is going to have a loot at it. He guaranteed his work.

If you can provide me a link to the mod chip instructions for the ps2 i may be able to help... i used to jack ps1's all the time and that was simple as pie for anyone with electronics experience.

My brother got it done, and the moron didn't bother to ask which chip he was getting.

hmmm... well if it like the ps1, you could open it up and look for cold or cracked sloder joints... also some versions were incompatible and you had to remove the mod, but they did work after that was done so... i dunno in your case without seeing it before me or having the schematic.

well it worked for about half an hour using copied games. I then put in a normal, and that's when the day went to shit.


Today was my only day off from work and training. I had planned on doing nothing except play video games.

This is how my life is all the time. I can't get anything I want.
