prescrbd HRT ... 400mg week of cyp ? enough ?

400mg/wk should put you around total test of approx 1500-1700 or so, maybe higher. Average is around 500-600, so 400 is plenty to mike slow steady progress and the sides should be almost nonexistent. Just remember your on TRT now so you dont have to cycle and worry about coming off, just run your 400mg/wk for 6 months and I bet you will be happy.

to make slow steady progress?

some people cycle on 400/week.

thats ridiculous/awsome

id be happy at 400 for life

Im on 400mg/wk trt as well, working like a charm.

You also have to realize that test doesnt work in a vacuum, it relies on other hormones and systems in the body to build muscle and burn fat. As we age, all of that stuff works less efficiently than it did when you were 25 so a 400mg/wk "cycle" at 45 is no where near as effective as a 400mg/wk "cycle" when your 25.

Yep, GH and even low dose deca. As you can imagine though the GH is a bit spendy.

Are we allowed to discuss the medical prices on here? just curious about how insurance plays into it, and what it costs someone to be on HRT

I would say no on the pricing but I can tell you when comparing hrt clinics to regular docs, hrt pricing can range from expensive to outright extortion. TRT clinics dont take insurance so its all on you, they are kind of like the plastic surgeons of the health world, they dont treat lab numbers, they treat you and how you feel. Do to an overall decline in everything as we age this means an endo's 200mg/wk simply may not be enough test to alter the aging effects on the mind and body.

If you see and endo or a normal doc then its usually covered by insurance but doses are generally no more than 200mg/wk and many docs wont allow you to inject yourself and insurance usually only covers bi-monthly doc visits for injections so thats not ideal.

If your shopping for HRT and the place wont give you any pricing info up front over the phone simply walk away. If they are legit and fairly priced (which of course for trt is relative) they wont have anything to hide. Feel free to PM me if you have some specific questions about it.

great info, thanks, im really just curious how it all works and the legality.

so an HRT clinic is basically a medical marijuana depot? lol

if you have a script for the stuff, and rip your labels off the bottles, is it not illegal to just buy from other sources, or is it still illegal to get black market juice even with the script?

Good point. Though the flip side of that is, the body can tolerate the higher dosages better when younger, so using age to pump the dosages has its drawbacks. One must be a little conservative in regard to how much the envelope is pushed.

Even if your LH output is ZERO, using 200 mgs of test is going to get your levels into the high range. A lot of guys make the most of it by lowering SHBG (which is why I don't go a day without my daily dose of UNLEASHED). If free T is in the upper register, THAT is the true guage of how much you're getting. Going much higher than that is just greedy. :)

Well, I wouldnt go as far as to call them medical marijuana depots, thats why I said they were like plastic surgeons. Often not covered by insurance because they help people get what they want. For trt, 200mg often doesnt give people In terms of test replacement, if you are some average guy who sits behind a desk all day and just wants to feel better, they will likely only put you on 200mg. If your active, with a healthy lifestyle and good labs you can get 400. While long term(20 years say) effects of 400mg doses are still unknown IF labs are monitored(which is a requirement for trt) and everything stays good it should be very safe. Likely safer than the "average" american diet.

TRT clinics dont actually give you a script, they supply you your meds direct from one of their compounding pharmacies, all with pretty white prescription labels and no refills so if you caught possessing them its legit right from the pharm with docs name, dea# etc.
