We all know you need fast acting carbs and protein after you work out, and IMO the best meal would be WaxyMaize and Whey. But what if the only thing you could get is soda? or candy? Do those carbs act the same at all and do the same thing as dextrose/maltodextrin/waxymaize? Or is that just a waste? I never drink soda, but just wondering if ANY kind of fast acting carb will work, or if it would have a benefit over not taking anything at all.
