Post Injection Paranoia or anxiety

I usually inject in the quads using a 23” 1.5 pin. What I notice is that after every injection, my heart beats a little faster and I get this paranoid feeling as if something went wrong. I start thinking all these crazy thoughts and anxiety just builds and lasts I would say for 5 – 10 mins--sometimes longer.. I aspirate on every shot and usually my injections go pretty smoothly but I always get this feeling especially when I try gear that I haven’t tried before. I have Testex amps waiting to be shot, and since this will be my first time trying them I know the feeling will be there after the injection. Would you guys classify this as a typical anxiety related issue and has anyone else experienced a similar feelings??

happens to me every now and then, a lot when i first started juicing, its natural for some, no big deal

It is called state anxiety, a fight or flight response that occurs as a result of an event. Very normal when using needles and thinking of pain, etc.

You'll get used to it and it will be easier as time goes on. As for that annoying chatter box in your head just tell it to shut up. But it's pretty persistant so this may take a few tries to work.

Yea your absolutely right its usually a sort of a panic attack(hard to define) so taking a few deep breaths and meditation helps but at times when you can physically feel your elevated heart beat and your head gets dizzy you start to wonder.... I think it all comes down to mind control and being able to plant a firm grasp on your true senses.

First time I wonder, "What the hell IS in this stuff anyway? I just shot something into my body... and I really have no idea what it is." Creeps me out for a little while. Then when I don't die.. I assume everything is ok.
