So really, whats the deal?

Plunk always seems to be the instigator which I am sure he will disagree and say Redsam brings it on himself. I like both of you guys and I wouldn't necessarily want to see the debating stop, just trying to figure this out.

Do you guys really have a dislike for one another or its all in good fun. You're good guys I like you both and each offer something different and entertaining to C&C, so keep it up.

i think it started in a weed thread.

I agree, but bino, what is their true discord about? Is it who is smarter, or is it a question of right wing vs left wing?

There seems to be a philosophy underlying, one, granted it's not concrete, but there does seem an ideology discord.
That said, I'd like a more sharing of ideas through debate and less personal, you got a small dick shit.

plunks is the instigator/antagonist without a doubt. but samwise has a tendency to speak very authoritatively on numerous subjects despite seemingly limited knowledge and suspect critical thinking skills, and in my opinion he is asking for it. Plunkeys consistently opposing viewpoints, as well as his strong inclination towards rational discourse, makes him the ideal candidate to undermine RedAlert's posts with sarcasm.

I enjoy their presence on the board and embrace the status quo. "All-natural pot smoke" cracks me up every time, though some of the other ones are getting kinda old

RS is very entertaining to me. But if you read the history, you'll see a pattern.

1) I get him talking. He'll always talk himself into a corner over something.

2) Then call bullshit on something really ridiculous he claims

3) Then watch him squirm digging the hole deeper.

4) Then he lays low for a few days or says he's "done" with the thread at hand.

Go back and watch the pattern. It's pretty much the same play -- the topic just changes from time-to-time (all-natural pot smoke, massive inflation under Reagan, 5-plat Vibrams-powered squats, his alleged well-to-do status yet can't afford plat membership). I could search them up. There's gotta be up to 8-12 of these now. The Mexican Ph.D. illegal immigrant life sciences workers has potential right now too.

It's all in good fun and quite entertaining. He loses it and does one of those full-page rants from time-to-time, but that only entertains me more.

Thats really all it is. Members have arguments all the time on ef, but its always a one time deal. The plunk/RS saga is sustained over a long period of time because of basic political and philosophical differences. When you combine that fact with both of their abilities to type on the interwebs, then youve got a neverending Crossfire type show.

usually one person dominates or the other just doesn't care and elife bumps along.
