It will be upheld as unconstitutional, and rightly so. You must remember that public education is GOVERNMENT education, these are government schools. Therefore, they cannot endorse any religion, nor force one to support any group (the US) that one does not choose.

This is why people need to pull their children from gub'ment schools and put them in private education suited to your needs. Parents have handed the raising of their children to the State, and they need to realize that the State's wishes do not always correlate to the parents' wishes.

Push for school vouchers people.

If i am somewhere and i see some bastard not standing i will rip his ass up and grab his lips and force them to say "in god we trust" That is bullshit that they outlawed it. Government schools are fine, the government sucks, but the schools are fine. Catholic private schools are even better.

I agree.. You can't FORCE anyone to recite the pledge, But for Christ sake if the teacher wants to recite, and have patriotic students follow suit then they should be able to do it.

Why is it patriotic to say In God We trust?

Because the majority of American's belive in God? What if the majority believed in in giant man eating penguins?

If it offends a minority of people, we should try to fix it--I think. Personally, I think it's a joke.. I mean, minorities are fucked over daily, there are bigger problems than this, but I still agree with it...

If it really bothers you so much not to say In God We Trust... wait until you get home, save up all that energy... and then say it over and over. That'll be fun for you.

How do they have it worse than me? Anyone with drive and focus can accomplish anything in this country! I have a black friend who was raised on welfare, busted his ass through college and is now making lots of money as an I-banker. He didn't use his race as an excuse. How did he prevail in such an "anti-Minority" culture.
