minorities are fucked over daily???? What, I couldn't get student loans because I was white. I was dropped ouside the hiring range for the fire department because the city had to fill quotas. The world bends over backwards for minorities, like my man MP3 said "when you are white and stand up for your race it is called hate, stand up for your race when you aren't white and it is called pride"

Yeah, i feel bad for the minorities who have it so bad today. It must be hard getting an 800 SAT and $5,000 scholarship based on your race. Whites have it easy, they can bust thier asses and not get shit because they are white. Yelp, minorities get discriminated against every day.

as a liberal i call bogus on this one for the simple fact it's based on one small phrase. now, i don't think kids should have to recite it day after day. what's the point? do you really feel the need for children to have to reconfirm their loyalty to this country? they don't understand it fully yet, teens do but not children. so in my opinion, to ban it due to one phrase is total b.s.

to the religious rights on here, you come down on liberals but yet fail to see something. as self proclaimed religious folks you should consider it a possibility that pledging loyalty to a flag can be considered idolotry. something to think about before bad mouthing libs.

You're Right, and I shouldn't badmouth liberals in this situation. I just think, especially in the period America is in, that we should instill some pride in our nation. You have every right not to say the pledge, but It shouldn't be Unconstitutional. What happens if a child or a Teacher say's it in the morning. Are they removed from the school? That in it's own is Unconstitutional. So really wht is this ruling all about. (Other than the waste of money and time tying up the already congested court system)
