Okay, long story short. A girl I had sex with ONCE, 5 years ago, unprotected, but didn't cum in her, wants me to have a blood test to see if I'm the father of her kid. She was married to some guy and he signed the birth certificate, and now they're getting divorced. Supposedly she told the guy that her on again/off again ex was the real father, as she had regular sex with them both around the same time. Well now they both come up negative and she wants me to get a blood test. Can the courts make me do so? and if so, am I then bound to the child financially or otherwise or what? If so, would I have to share custody with the guy who signed the birth certificate? If anyone knows anything about a matter like this, please tell me. I'm thinkin I should get a lawyer now.

If I were you, I would want to know if this kid has my blood in his veins. Sure I would make his mom pay for the test and stuff, but at least I would know. I have a son now and I see a part of me in his eyes everytime I look at him. I can't stand the thought of thinking there could be another kid like him in the world and I'm not involved.

Do the right thing dude, You may have to pay child support but that is just money, nothing compared to the blessings this kid can bring into your life.

BTW- There is always the chance he is not even yours.

Didn't mean you Raina. Just to the people trying to be cute. I will get the blood tests after a see a court order and a lawyer on my side tells me I gotta.

if you really think this might be your kid...

move immediately, and cut off all ties to her. If she can't find you, she can't serve you.

And stay away from such skanks in the future. The husband just wants you to do it so he isn't stuck with a decade long bill of $100g's for some kid that isn't his. He wants you to have it.

Don't make the skanks job easier.
