pinning help,

doing first pin tomorrow, i have fiance who is willing to do it so would having her do my glute be better than doing it myself in the quad?...im a conductor on a short-line railroad so i am on my feet all day switching rail cars....heard too many stories of pain from quad pins...i have 23g 1 inch needles....thanks in advance


oh and will be running test cyp
 
1 inch can be tough if your not very lean.. if you have low bf glute might work but with a 1 inch pin i would do quad or delt.. delt might be better for 1 inch
 
my first pin was in my quads 23 1 inch....my fucking gosh..I couldnt walk for a few days..it was red swollen ...i was scared..
2nd pin was 23 1.5 in glutes.....virtually painless and no pip what so ever...

Worst part is breaking the skin.. if you can have someone do it you won't even notice

Exactly! I actually did do some jabbing in the beginning but only for the first 1/8th of an inch or so just to break the barrier, then I'd start pushing slow through muscle tissue
 
just sucks for a newb cause ive researched alot but everyone has a different answer as far as injection sites, im leaning towards delts.....ill probably hate you all after i do it....my source says quads but with my job being very demanding on the legs i cant risk having severe pain there
 
If your on your feet all day and you botch a glute or quad shot its going to suck for you, delt is good to go. Minimal to no pain
 
I've never pinned, but I'm about to start soon. But I have a question...why are quads and glutes always mentioned first for injection spots? I've been reading and watching videos on delts, and it seems like the clear cut winner...

Are delts the best choice for someone who has never pinned before? Especially if you're doing it alone...it looks very easy. Any chances of hitting a a vein/nerve?

Don't mean to hi-jack OP lol, but I think these questions will help you as well...
 
Delts, quads, and glutes are easiest for new guys, but you're gonna get more PIP in the quads. The delts and glutes are a much better option. You are also much more prone to hit veins in the quads than the delts or pecs.

In reality it will come down to preference. I can't reach my asscheek as good as I could when I started pinning, so delts pecs and quads are easier for me.

Quads are my favorite
 
I think you'd hate the pain more than getting new needles if using them for quads ;)
ive read that most people use a 23g in quads.....i want to pin there but cant risk it with my legs being used all day at work........was supposed to start today but my aromasin didnt arrive:(
 
I cannot reach a delt to save my life......I gotta use quads and glutes, and glutes I gotta lay down and stretch first and its still hard....I just guess I do not have flexibility in the manner to get a delt shot..

Ive been on HRT 3 years, everything I do is slow, I cannot do the jabs....I go slow and I push the oil in slow
 
i have a fiance willing to do the pinning, so with my job being leg demanding and having her to do it is delts the best option for me?
 
Lollll. You'd think jabbing it in would make it more painless but I push in easy
When I used to be able to pin glutes I'd jab it through the skin and then go easy until the 1.5" bitch is all the way in ... then I depress the plunger and slowly deposit the oil nice and deep inside the muscle tissue.

I like the ease of a quad shot ... but I hate hitting a nerve or going through a vein ... and the chances of those happening on quad pins are always very high. I used to be able to pin my glutes no problems, but since I broke my back last year July, I have not been able to twist my torso as easily as before so I have settled for delts on 1cc and above pins and triceps for anything below 1cc ... makes it easier than contorting by torso ... but I wish I could still do glutes. My missus just tells me to fuck right off if I ask her to pin my glutes ... SIGH ...
