couch is leather and comfortable as hell.. even good for sleeping.
I have my eye on a new table and chair set, but its going to set me back a grand... matches the kitchen cabinents though.
and hell yeah man I got a clear view to home plate from my place.. view of the coronado bridge and bay.. and eastward view.. plus I can walk to two movie theaters, TONS of restuarants and bars.. close to all freeways.

You need a better entertainment center with a place like that. My grandma has a nicer tv.
Nice place. I won't comment too much about the entertainment section. lol But.... the speakers are too close to the walls behind them.

I have the same/similar couch but white... or cream. I think when you're married , it's a rule to change from black to something else.

You need some serious help with interior design bro, but nice place nonetheless. Has lots of potential. If you need help with decorating shoot me a pm. That little table with fold up chairs really needs to go lol.

Anyway, you have a great void above that sofa. Break it up with something behind it. Pictures, art, any kind of frames or large shadow boxes. Lamps with open glow? NO NO! Get a shade. You have plenty of room surrounding the table and chairs by the window, increase to a bigger size and 4 chairs.
Kitchen is great. Leave alone.
Add a small entry rug to the foyer.
You have a great view (from what I can see) outside, make that the focal point in every room.

TV is on the list of things to get.. 50" plasma.. but I'm waiting until after the holidays for prices to come down....
The dining set is temporary..
The black leather couch is comfy as hell... its not my GF's favorite.. but she still likes it.
I didn't post any pics of the master bedroom because my GF was sleeping at the time but its nice.
I need to put some art on the wall behind the couch, but its a big space and my gf and I would like to get something together that works back there... any suggestions are appreciated.

well, its the first place we've moved into.. and its not neccsarily going to be a permanent home.. maybe 2 years? So it doesn't make sense to spend 5-10K on furnature and wall art. That black leather couch is tacky. Dude you need more refinement in your pad. Replace with old english leather chesterfield (dark brown stressed leather with studding) if you are daring enough and want something extremely sophisticated. Or if not, then go with a modern dark brown aged leather sofa.
Carry a theme of dark browns and earthtones. Accent with touches of tans/creams.

ill critique a little more mr lestat.. your art on your wall is too close.. and like parallel to eachother you should find a way to move those.. not as close and non parallel where they look unique... couch aint bad but you need to add something to either side of it.. it looks very plain in that area.. dining room setting.. you basically need a 'real' dining room, that setting looks like something that would be setup in marcy projects.. entertainment system is nice.. but i think you need to go larger on the tv.. if you want ill manage a way to get you a large screen 47"+ for free.. other than that i really love everything in your place the marble/granite whatever is counter tops etc.. etc.. etc.. if you set that shit up right it will be a bad ass looking nook..
