Scandinavia refers to Denmark, Norway and Sweeden.

Some people include Finland and Iceland.

did you know that Finland has only been a soveriegn state since 1917?

Actually you do not live in Scandinavia - most Finns like to think of themselves as Scandinavians but they are not.

You, my Piirka friend, live in the Nordics.

Its you language that barred you entrance into the Scandi VIP area.

half true...

As a cultural and historical concept, Scandinavia can include Finland as well .....often with reference to the nation's long history as a part of Sweden.
Although Finland is culturally closely related to the other Scandinavian countries, it also has a distinct Finno-Ugric identity shaped by both Eastern and Western European influences...close to Hungarian language.
