Absolutely tan to match the house. That way it will look more a part of the house. You don't want to get too many colors going on in the additions, or they will look disjointed. They will LOOK like an afterthought. Tan is the way to go.

I would say go with that redish lighthouse color. You know how if you look at a lighthouse from far away it looks like it is red and white, but when you get close they color isn't really a red its more like a mauveish red. Go with that.
