Most people say that they are they same on the internet as they are in real life. Well if that's the case, I really don't want to meet several people from here.
I'll admit, I am very sarcastic, outspoken and probably rude sometimes. But at the same time I don't kick people when they are down, regardless. Maybe I'm just and idiot.

that said, I'm surprised no one really flames me here for my takes or voice... but the thing is, the thing that gets me is that we all say its only the internet, say whatever, but the thing is its a medium of communication that we spend 20 to 40% of time and as time moves forward, and this happens underneath our awareness, cause we take everything for granted, however things are always changing behind our awareness, or lack there of, anyway our identity becomes more attached to online communication... my point is what was unacceptable 3 to 4 years ago like posting pics and having identity known through this medium is now more acceptable, our identity is becoming more attached to online communication as it becomes more enmeshed in culture... so when we say dont take it seriously, I agree realize it is only a medium of communication, however, I hate when peeps trivialize it, like it doesn't matter, to me this is bullshit, because just like a phone, speaker spouting blue light specials in walmart, whisper in your left ear, its a medium to communicate thought patterns... so people hypocritically say don't take shit seriously, however, when someone gets flamed... I notice that person appears to take it pretty seriously, atleast they react as if they were hurt by the disparaging commment or whatever, to me, this is only a natural phenomenon, as living in IRL is a pretty tense thing... lots of conflict, misunderstanding, and even flat out of hat inflecting our psyches... so to not have it reflect itself into our thoughts here would be impossible...
either way I dig it here.

i have had 2 regular bombs diffused by a very kind person here, which "he" didnt like, and decided to hit me with another 6. since then i have has 35000k in donations from good peeps here. when we almost called a truce he said he tried to diffuse me but it didnt work. i think i just got to ride it out. i dont really care, people can still read what i type.

i think its on the cards sometime in the future. i would like to try it, see where it goes. i have never done wrestling or jiu jitsu though, and those type of gyms are hard to find around here.
and no, i havnt been to thailand either. its like, how do i put it, thailand to kickboxing is like ibiza to dance music? its spiritual home. i have to go there. i have trained with guys who went there for 8 week to train, and when they came back it was unbelievable, you wouldnt have thought 8 weeks would make much of a difference, but its a different type of training over there.
must be all the 12 year old hookers...

i think it has more to do with the level of discipline over there. one guy told me that over there, no one cracks a smile, giggle, nothing whilst training. the focus and concentration is of another world.
its sort of like a "warrior culture" children are brought up from a very young age knowing how to fight.

I'm not thai, but filipino, our national past time is filipino stick fighting, which is more of hand to hand combat with emphasis more on punching and counters... Its called kali, but anyway, yeah our country has more emphasis on boxing than anything else... thailand is muay thai.. thai and flips look similar but could not be anymore different culturally, as thai's are buddhist -very kewl- and flips are roman catholic -no comment- but yeah I would love to to thailand,

Mentally..yes I would say that it did. More so when your put in a position of fight or flight.
I would go as far to say that i'm pretty well versed in self defense. Not so much to say that I could enter MMA, but to protect myself on the street. Definetly.
I studied at the IMB (international martial arts & boxing) acadamy for just a hair over 8 years. Around that time my instructor was apparantly going through some marital problems and commited suicide via a 40 cal to the head in the back room of our training facility. Never went back after that.

I did a search for that on IMDB but nothing really showed up. Maybe I'll search Rotten Tomatoes.

Agreed. A buddy of mine studied over there for over 4 years and he was very well versed in many different arts. Came back and taught me and I noticed a huge leap in ability and skill that amazed me. Been hanging with him ever since trying to absorb as much as I can.
Ariel, keep us updated if you remember that movie comparable to memento on crack, that sounds sweet!
