Painful advice....

Look bro, you probably started off to heavy and did to many reps. What is your weight, most people will feel some discomfort the first time doing deads, especially if they have a very weak back, but it gets easier after awhile. I deadlift 600 lbs and my back never hurts, but hey, been doing deads for 5 years. You should stop crying about the pain and suck it up, ever hear of the saying no pain..no gain. Unlike my back, most of my other bodyparts are always in pain, and I love it. Learn to love it or stay a crouch potato. Deadlifts/squats will make you big, thats good advice....take it.

5'11 123...man i would kill to be that weight. You must be really lean. I am 6'2 252...but i have been on a bulking diet ever since i was born...prob 50-60% bodyfat. I somehow burned all the fat out of my right(good arm) from drinking beer with it and using the remote for the tv. So my right bicep measures 10 inches and my left measures 11.

I know i got a long ways to go but eventually i will get to where u are. YOU BETTER WATCH IT!

LOL..

I am actually 6'2 252...big surprise eh?
But i ain't even close to being that fat. Prob 14-16%...

24 inch? holy crap...no shit chicks dig it.

For all of you who want to criticize...

I'm 5'7 and weigh 190 @ 10-13%. I use 225 for the sets and yes it hurt like a bitch. I usually don't do deads, but I felt like doing them after some helpful suggestions....

Make sure your form is correct. Don't worry about starting light. Heck i have trouble with that too. But make sure your form is bang on before you throw on big weights. Or else...well, it hurts spraining anything, or slipping a disc for that matter.

Thanks Sebass

My from is pretty solid I had one of my friends watch to see if I was doing it correct. I didn't go that heavy since my reps were pretty high 12-15. My back just seemed to blow up in front of me. especially the lower back were the fat accumulates behind the kidneys. Yesterday i felt like I was on fire since my back was so sore, but the fat back there had lessened a little. I still went through my whole routine and use heavier weight than before for the same reps. I just had ONE OF THOSE GOOD DAYS....
