Pain in my arm.

I'm having severe pain in both my arms in between my elbow and my wrist when I'm (palms up) curling for biceps. at first it feels really tight for about 5 seconds when im done doing my set. then at the end of my sets it feels like a nerve is being pinched. Like I said its only when my palms are up. Can anyone plz help?

First of all I wouldn't curl anymore until the pain goes away, second of all if it's been going on for awhile I would go see a doctor, sounds like you tore a muscle or something.

impossible for us to tell help that much because we dont know exactly where your pain is, but i was having wrist and forearm problems while curling heavy, and i realizedi wasnt curving my hand enough (flexing the forearm for support and controll) during the curl,

basically i find more support in my lower arms and wrist if i keep my arm flexed up like the top of a palm up wrist curl (see pic below) throughout the entire motion. try going a little lighter like that, and working your way back up, if your still getting problems call your doctor like suggested

in both arms at the same time? doubt it

Are u using an EZ Curl bar by any chance???? I find that when I do heavy curls with that bar, my wrists and forearms get hit harder than my bi's and they ache a little. If I switch to a standard straight bar or dumbells, then I find I can really focus on the curl without pain.

Also, I know Bengay has an Invisi-gel that is odorless. Maybe u can lather up your arms before you hit the weightroom?

Just my .02. :lil k:

I think I just hit it to hard when I was on the straight bar. I tried ez curl still same thing. I can do reverse, and hammer with no pain just when I put stress on it with palms up. I killed my biceps the other day just useing revers curl.

agreed. most regular doctors are pieces of shit when it comes to this.

try the advice youv been given in this thread, also try working on forearm and grip strength getting your lower arms used to handling weight.

but if all that fails, sadly youv got no other choice and should visit the drs
