yes, i've heard about reliablity issues. i wonder how that carries forward for different years. i'm thinking of an 05 or 06. need a good deal on a sexy used car. 135's are cool, but even the few used ones will be too much. don't want to spend more than 25k. this thing is nicer-looking and less common than comparable bimmers.
i'll get one that gives me at least a year's worth of driving under warranty. one reason i'm not favouring a late model 3 series is that they look cheap inside. although the idea of performance is nice, i'm just a regular driver who has never driven anything other than boring cars (coming from an '00 acura tl). but i would like more hp...the acura had 225. would like at least 300.
had a 328 i just sold and i still have a 03 325 my wife drives, there good cars but since i actually got a mercedes it drives alot better, and the look is alot better!!! bmw have never done me wrong just feel theres to many of them now...the clk500 is a great car,i liek the hardtop better the n the convertiblehayez, what bimmer did you drive, and what did you think of it, and what merc did you get?
now i'm reconsidering a bimmer...if i can get an 06 330ci (255hp) with around 40k miles for 25k (good but not impossible deal),
that could work.
BMW's always need service. Get a Lexus. That Benz looks like an old man's car.
it looks nice, no doubt, but I'm not a fan of 2 doors anymore. I prefer a 4 door with decent leg room. I have a coupe now and have long grown tired of it, although it was fun at first. I also would like a hybid. My bro just got a hybrid highlander and its pretty sweet.
lol.agreed, late model SLs are nice, but even if i got a great deal (you can get them under 40 w/o difficulty), it's not something i'd want to keep around here. it's not a shitty area, but i wouldn't want to park that on the street here. probably not the clk either. hopefully a garage spot is available in my complex.
if y'all have other suggestions, throw them out. g35 is ok, but it's way too common and the clk is much more appealing.
clk, what do you mean by lame duck?
lestat, if i find a good car in the SD area, would you check it out for me?
i'm out of weed.
i've never like the styling of benzos.. i know you're saying g35 is played out, but have you seen the g37? - so hot!!

the repairs though are usually not as common as with american cars....all my bmws i kept till well over 100k and never had any issues besides a alternator and a starter 1 timei bought an 05 CLK 320 last week. it's a cabrio and we love it. i've always
opted for BMW in the past and i wanted to change it up a bit.
i've owned a host of german cars, including 6 porsches and i've never been
disappointed. yes, i've paid some extravagant repair bills, but if you want
point A to point B transportation, buy a ford.
shit, my wife talked me out of buying a gallardo. ( i have no common sense
when it comes to passion. )
When did you turn 80?

And the Lexus isn't?

Save your money and get a reliable car that is not overpriced. Let's face it, men buy these cars as extention of their small peniles.
This car looks like a Beemer but is just made better and cost 1/2 the price

Damn girl this is the first time I can't agree with you!
Jeez, he's got an Acura TL now, an Accord would be a step down.
Besides, the new Accord is too soft. Too much like a Camry now.
I think the CLK is a good fit for JA.
