It makes me wonder, if he had NO religous teachings in his life, wether he would have killed himself or not. Just a thought.

The problem was that he was incredibly alienated by his genius and he couldn't handle that so he took his life. That's my guess.

yup good point.

the more I learn about people and how the world works, the more I realize how much people suck. selfishness, greed, jealously and pettiness, man's inhumanity to man.

Imagine understanding that world and the failings of human nature on the intellectual level of a mature adult, but having to then deal with it with the emotional maturity of a 14 year old. poor kid.

Yeah, it could be from various teachings, besides religion. I'm wondering if his psychological maturity wasn't keeping up with his mental maturity, and he wasn't able to rationalize and think for himself.

Or maybe he discovered something we're too dull to realize, such as the key to immortality through death.
