Nope, there was a kid who was kidnapped and killed about 20 mins from my house. I'm planning to installed a tracking device and deadman's switch into my kids.

find a local boys & girls CLub and give the kid some freedom there.. adult staff in every area so he is safe and secure yet he feels like he belongs there and not you... because it is HIS club... trust me, he will not want to go home and this will help you out...

plus, parents can hold the club over them (if you dont do your homework you cant go)

and he learns to be responsible and self reliant (to a point).

Clubs offer all sorts of stuff for kids of all ages... honestly, look it up...
