Ok i have a question on my car

It is either the fuel system or the ignition system, I know that much from your description, but it is hard to say without more information. Most likely problems would be fuel filter, fuel pump(when you turn the key on/engine off listen for a humming noise, that is your fuel pump priming, or ignition module, or the distributor itself. Also it could be as simple as needing new plugs, or a new rotor and cap. Pretty vague answer, huh? It's hard to work on cars over the internet. Good call on the IAC Razor guns, that could be it too.

Yes but the car dies on idle. Which is the awkward thing. Not like on 1st gear at stop, the pump stops pumping gas to kill the engine. ?

well to me, and im just another idiot that drives cars:(
My dad owned it before me and he took great care of it....hes the reason it uses 89 grade gas
it has always idled low......maybe i do have some junk in my filter or something? could it be something AS SIMPLE as the filter?

well if you're in park and you take your foot off the gas and it immediately keeps dropping (rpm's) to the point that the engine stalls and dies -- it's your idle controller sensor.

if it doesn't -- or if it's flippant -- it's something else.

dumb question: you have checked your fluids right? (transmission, etc.).

Well, I'm going to assume that you've been using lower grade gas without problems until recently. And it wouldn't hurt to see if a tank of the better stuff will make a difference. But what really has to be done, is find out why there has been a change in your engine's performance in the first place. I forgot to ask if you've seen any change in your emissions, like presence of blue or black smoke. But from what your saying, I would guess (remember, just a GUESS) that it isn't anything major. You're fuel injectors may be getting dirty, or you may have a bad spark plug (although a bad spark plug may be a symptom of other problems). Since you've said that there isn't any odors or unusual noises that rules out alot of bad things. But you can have your injectors checked, your fuel filter changed, air filter, and other minor things to see if that will make a difference before worrying about doing any major repairs. Heck, even an oil change can make a difference in cold weather.
And if you do take it in, make sure that its a REPUTABLE shop! Even bring someone along who knows alot about cars, just in case.
I hate having car problems :(

oh when i got the car from my parents my mom forgot to tell me it used the 89 grade gas...and it drove awfully but she then informed me it used the higher grade..and it drove better..dang i dont know i got some big plans coming up and i dont want the dnged thing tore up:(

I agree.

Do this. You'll need to do this regularly anyways -- so might as well do it now to wipe any possible problem areas:

oil change
transmission flush
tune up

while you're at it. change hoses. timing belts. thermostat. radiator flush. oh and check for oil leaks around the pan, hoses, etc. :)

1 - Fuel injector
2 - watery gas

...fix both with a gas additive

A bad fuel filter will usually make an engine bog down during acceleration, because it has limited ability to let gas pass through. Usually, fuel pumps either work, or they don't. Air filters can get to the point of almost being black, and there may not be any noticeable difference to the driver. A bad spark plug would make a car idle rough and there would be a loss of power, sometimes along with the faint smell of gasoline. And bad gas mileage. But surprisingly, not too much stalling. Dirty injectors will also cause rough idle, stalling, and slow response in the foot petal. If the timing was off, it would act this same way, with the engine running hot.

sounds like fouling spark plugs, get a tune up , they will change the filter, and check the ignition system.
