I've had dozens of girlfriends in their 30s with children and none of them had stretch marks
some had floppy pussy lips
and some had pert-tight pussy lips like a teenager
but none had a serious case of stretch marks

During the pregnancy, she gained a total of 26lbs. She never developed any stretch marks or ANY flabby skin like that website portrays

Those women are just trying to justify why they are doomed to never wear a bikini again whereas the real reason is that they couldn't control the cravings thus turning them into the typical fat ass pregnant cow.

my friend is doctor and he told me long time ago about the battle scars of pregnancies and he made me realize that it can definitely ruin a woman's body. i had no clue.

Stretch marks during/after pregnancy are really determinded by genetics (just putting that out there).

I made out OK. I had a c-section about a month ago. I'm about 10 pounds from my pre-preg. weight and it's dropping off at a steady rate.
No stretch marks. My scar from the c-section is only 5-6 inches long, very thin and already lightening up. I bet I will barely notice it in a year, plus, it's really low on my body.
I was really worried about the effects of pregnancy but it wasn't all that bad.
I just tried to not eat like a pig and the push-ups kept my boobs from drooping.
 
I've seen MEN with stretch marks before at my gym! I know several men who have them now that I think about it!I think the next time I see those duds in my gym I'm going to ask them for a half naked pose down to make 'em feel like shit next to me. Good plan?:)

I find the site to be rather extreme.I could be wrong, but, I have seen few women with those type of issues!

On a side note. If a few stretch marks bother some of you men so much, I would suggest that you have your future wife's mom strip down and check her battle birthing scars. Skin "elastic plastic" genetics run in a family...Just sayin.

So true. I have seen men with them and also women have developed them post-pregnancy without gaining much weight. Plus, I have seen really fat women and men with no stretch marks.

If you Wait till 35 and start out with a NOT TIGHT body, don't expect to end up with a tight body.

Plus, breat feeding is actually a really fast way to get the weight off. Most women thinks it makes them gain weight but they actually lose an extra 300-500 calories a day from breast feeding.
Another place some go wrong is the activity level. Calorie intake does not need to increase 300/day if you glue ur ass to the couch as soon as you get a positive pregnancy test. U gotta keep moving.

used to be able to get married at 15 in this country less than a century ago
I've spoken to a few widows who got married at 15-16 here in the deep south

he said it's cool having kids because you see parts of yourself in them
sometimes you even recognize characteristics you didnt really consciously knew you had
and of course the blend of the genetics with your mate you see her in them
hell I enjoy hangin' with me nephews/neices and observing my sister's qualities in them

Adoption is cool if you are unable to have kids of your own blood. But why should we be held responsible or feel guilty for not taking in someone else's neglected responsibility(ies)? Yeah "it's sad" but how about the real mother and father get their fucking acts together and take that thought to heart before the rest of us are expected to bail them out.

Not only that. You have to care and have the passion to raise another child. Sad indeed, but I just can't see myself rasing a kid I don't even know or have feelings for. I couldn't do it. It takes someone speacial to to that.

First of all, if a stretch mark bothers you that much after a woman gave birth to a child, then just grow up. It is genetic. Some of those women on that site gained only 20 something pounds and have horrible stretch marks. How much you gain and whether you get stretchmarks varies from person to person and depends lots on genetics. I gained lots with my baby and didn't get a single stretchmark. Was it because I'm any better or worse than the women who did get them? NOPE. I just got lucky to have stretchy skin. My boobs didn't get saggy and I'm nearly back to normal. I'm no better than those women. I just got lucky.

my wife kept it together pretty good. . .even though her first pregnancy was twins and she's 5'6" and only weighs 105. . .at the height of her pregnancy she looked absolutely ridiculous. . .like if ET had landed in ethiopia. . .yet, two years and a few months after our last one was born, she doesn't look anything like any of the women on that website. . .

my wife definitely doesn't look the same as she did pre-babies but, to be honest, i love her more and find her to be even sexier than i did before. . .she's the mother of my children, she's the best mom i've EVER seen (and i had a damn good one) and she's still the single best thing that ever happened to me. . .

in the classical sense, i'm sure neither of us is as "beautiful" as we were when we were 25. . .but i look at her and i honestly don't see it. . .she can still give me that "funny feeling" with just a glance in my direction. . .

i suppose i'm weird. . .sue me. . .

This thread makes me want to knock most of your idiot heads together.

First of all, if a stretch mark bothers you that much after a woman gave birth to a child, then just grow up. It is genetic. Some of those women on that site gained only 20 something pounds and have horrible stretch marks. How much you gain and whether you get stretchmarks varies from person to person and depends lots on genetics. I gained lots with my baby and didn't get a single stretchmark. Was it because I'm any better or worse than the women who did get them? NOPE. I just got lucky to have stretchy skin. My boobs didn't get saggy and I'm nearly back to normal. I'm no better than those women. I just got lucky.

But, hell, if it makes you feel superior to insult women for having some battle scars from having a baby, so be it. Congrats to all of you guys for being so perfect in every way. :rolleyes:

Heather is completely right.

I'll contribute my own sob story regarding stretchmarks. I happen to have some on my hips. I believe my first post at Elite was an inquiry as to whether I would be *acceptable* as a figure competitor.

I have never been obese nor pregnant and in fact I got my hip stretchies at the age of 12, almost coinciding with my first period and after months of a pretty fast growth spurt....I was a hair under 5'6" and 103 pounds. Mine are white by now and I seem to be able to hide them with a tan.

people 'round here get sick of me going on and on about how wonderful my (married) life is. . .i'm pretty sure most of them think i'm completely full of shit. . .but the truth is, I'M NOT. . .i really AM that happy/satisfied/what-ever-the-frig-you-wanna-call-it and i don't give a hairy rat's ass if anyone believes me or not. . .friggum!! :)

Oh, I have some on my hips. I got them the same age and same reasons as you did. I was a tiny little thing, but when I hit puberty I got some. You can't really see them now unless you are really looking for them, but they are there.

I didn't get any while pregnant, though, even though I gained <gulp> nearly 60 lbs. :worried:

LOL...look at us...we get pregnant....eat 7000 calories a day..get stretch marks and call them "badges" of motherhood.

Did any of you women actually look at that website?? Now I can understand stomach stretch marks..baby is growing stretching out the abdomen. or breast stretch marks from the breast getting bigger from the milk.

But the vast majority of those women got those stretch marks from gorging themselves and gaining 100 lbs in a matter of months.

I hear ya american culture is horrible for women, but then again from what ive seen a lot of other cultures make it seem like the women basically say treat me like a goddess and wait on me hand and foot cause i have a vag...but at least i wont cheat on you.
