Honestly there are two reasons in my book that this information would be exposed to the public. A) Osama has been dead for awhile and they were examining his body to make sure it was positively him. B) This is a excuse to go to war. Flaunt the dead body of their leader in their face to go to war for oil.
Gases prices are going to get higher until we find oil some where.

Not true according to the pres. This was a special ops strike that he gave the GO for tonight.
 
That's was what I had posted initially as well, and how the media outlets had it printed. It's since been changed to the bomb strike story.

Who knows; it'll eventually come out. All that matters is the bastard is dead.

No conspiracy theorist here, I believe he's dead 100%. I just can't believe Fox is on their 2nd version of the story, and CNN is on their 3rd! These are their online sites and NOT tv. At work, so no clue what the broadcasts are saying.

I love all these alts stirring the pot in this thread. How many bodies get recovered from bomb strikes? So the US bombed them and then sent in troops to wade through the mess to see what we got, like an easter egg hunt for Osama...unlikely.
 
I wonder what this will mean for troops? it's not like they can pack up and leave, it's not like Osama was the only terrorist... if Obama campaigned he wanted to bring troops home and he didnt and now they got Osama and he doesnt... where does that leave things?

He's a symbol...every attempted attack..successful or not.. in the last few years in the U.S. originated from Yemen and was inspired and planned by a distributed network leader. Killing Osama doesn't decrease the threat of terrorist attack it increases it..It's a religious movement that now has a martyr... not a political movement with a central leader like the Nazi's and Hitler.
 
Is it a conspiracy theory to say that the bushes and bin ladens do business together... Or that they have vacation together. Or that after 911 all of the bin laden family that lived in the US immediately got rounded up and got sent back home. No questions asked.. But hey that's ok huh..

It changes nothing...The two undeclared wars we are fighting aren't about Al Queda...Nothing on the ground changes in Afghanistan or Iraq. Obama may use this to declare victory and remove troops from Afghanistan. I'm amazed by the celebrations in Washington...we haven't won WWII ....IMO, Osama won by becoming a martyr for Islam and bankrupting America. We'll still be In Iraq and Afghanistan tomorrow...as well as the other 130 odd countries we send our military personnel.

So a bird went down ( due to mechanical failure), 40 seals attacked compound. A firefight ensued. Osama's son was killed? I think they said 3 civilians were killed. None of our personnel were hurt except the chopper pilot. I am sure they will exaggerate the story and make a sweet movie about it
 
I am hearing they took a couple photoshopped pics, burnt the body, dumped it in the sea. That sounds real shady, just sayin.. Whether he was dead before or is dead now not sure but I do know he was pretty damn old already even if hes still out there he is gonna die of old age soon lol.

We don't even get to see the body? Conveniently burnt and buried at sea? Surely he's really dead and they're not just doing this to help the admins low approval ratings in an election campaign? I don't believe our government would ever lie to us, do you? They always set themselves up for a conspiracy theory, it's never just cut and dry, ya know?

Ya I get what your saying, its sad that we have to doubt the government I wish I had no doubts and didn't think so poorly of the government but I do lol. All governments are corrupt, and I didn't say I think poorly of my country (Declaration, Constitution) I said government, the government is not the country. Just stating that so I do not get flamed by somone who could have interpreted differently.
 
It's a moral score, of course, and specially on the countries where AlQaeda killed people, but if OBL is dead, another fucking asshole will take the reins of AlQaeda...

The problem is that we kill one, and they are training 2000 kids, who in 10 years will be as fanatics as OBL was...

Retaliation is what our government wants from the middle east. Just as when the planes crashed into the towers, the new broadcasted middle easterns cheering and celebrating. We retaliated by bombing the hell out of them. Its a never ending cycle. The war on terror isn't meant to be won just sustained. I'm praying for the Americans we have in the middle east.
