I'm gonna send my ex fiance an arrangement of flowers. Her birthday is Friday. It will say "I just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday and I hope you and the girls are doing well."
I really would just like to be friends. Any suggestions? Maybe as to what else to say or anything else?

no flowers, you dont want to send her emotions into a tailspin regarding you.

Why would you want to do that?

This will only bring up memories and make you feel like you want to be with here agian or miss her again and you're going to feel like shit.

I would highly recommned yuo avoid this, but that's just me.

just a card wishing her a happy birthday and that you hope she's doing well.

sometimes you never stop loving someone, even after you've moved on.
 
So you sent the flowers? What kind? I hope not red roses..... I would have optioned a flowering plant like begonias (or maybe a flowering cactus would have been appropriate :) ) Flowers die... like relationships, that's kind of sad.

Keep it simple. I'm old enough to see that much of life is a circle and you might get a pleasant response. If you don't ... be a gentleman and just walk quietly away.

Yep. That's already happened once. Just recently after 12 years. It was wierd. FULL CIRCLE.
